Yup. None of the original minibots had any weapons. Additionally, this one has the toon face from prior reissues as opposed to the original toy face.

Yep, the original mini-Bots were meant to be small, simple, and affordable. The only one that included a weapon was outback, and, someone correct me if I’m wrong, but he couldn’t even hold it in bot mode. Only difference is that the original had a black bumper and faceplated head.

Side note, if you really need him to have a weapon, the gun from the old 3” titanium series statue fits perfectly into the little notch in his arm. Discovered that as a child, and from that point on it became g1 bumblebee’s gun.

Ya know, I thought it had a different face (at least from what I'd seen in pictures). That's a little disappointing.

Incorrect. Outback has a gun, and the Walmart reissue of him (in this very thread) shows that version comes with it as well.

To be honest with you, I prefer the toon face as opposed to the original toy face!

The original 1984 Bumblebee toy had a faceplate that served as the inspiration for the 1987 G1 Throttlebot Goldbug toy, Bumblebee's "upgraded" form.

The original toy face was later interpreted as a "battle mask" by Don Figueroa for Dreamwave's third Generation One volume, and subsequently also by Takara for Masterpiece Bumblebee 1.0, which features the battle mask as an alternate face.

The original toy face was last used for the keychain "reissue" of the original figure by Fun-4-All (2001) and Basic Fun (2006).

For their 2004 Transformers Collection "Minibot Team" reissue set, Takara decided to give Bumblebee an entirely new, cartoon-accurate head. That head was subsequently also used for their 2008 Encore "Bumble & Minibots" reissue set, but this time "Bumble" was also given a slightly more elaborate paintjob.

The Walmart exclusive "Vintage G1" reissue is more or less a straight re-release of Encore Bumble.

These things finally got discounted in my area so I bought up 15 minibots and 5 Hot Rods for my nephews for Easter gifts. (Nobody gets an Outback)

Hopefully this will get them to restock with some Warpaths and Gears.

$5 CAD for minibots and $20 for Hot Rod.

I had previously found all four minibots, Starscream and Hot Rod at full retail months ago so now I’m trying to help Walmart clear their shelves.

Cool! Yeah, I bought them all at full price. Except for Hot Rod, who I got for sale at $12 USD.

My Walmart just restocked Sunday and they had Warpath and Gears and a whole ton of Bumblebee. They seem to be getting a second supply of these if anyone is looking still.

Hey guys, does anyone who has purchased from Walmart online know if stuff can be bought and forwarded with mail direct for people in other countries?
I know some businesses allow mail redirects and others don't. Any help/info would be appreciated.

Any idea when Walmart online will restock Warpath and Gears at $7-$8 a pop?
Playing scavenger hunt at all my local area Walmarts is basically an exercise in futility and wasted gas.

Not to mention I don't even like going to Walmart to begin with. I'd rather buy from them online.

Walmart has to stock some figures before you can leave any.
