What cameras and smartphones you use for your sharp, crisp & detailed toy photography? Does anyone here uses the mid-range smartphone releases like Huawei P30 series? Anyone uses here RedMi Note 7, Asus Zenfones or Vivo V15, etc?
I use a Google Pixel 2XL but, more importantly, I try to take my pictures out in the sunlight. Also, I've found that it helps to sharpen the photo slightly after downsizing it (I generally go down to 1000 x 750 for posting here.)

yeah that i know, there was a reason that this figure was made. the classic looks is great but i hate the ankles/eye brows. This one looks very much like a update of the sinister six toy-biz. Kraven. I still prefer the boots/head sculpt of the rhino wave one but happy to add a 3rd one to my collection.
Yeah, Amazon says they are in the middle of processing Beast. I had to cancel my orders for Forge, Blink, Wolvy, and Skull because I don't have the money to afford them at this very moment. I might even have to cancel my preorder for Jubilee. This is the one time where I wish the July release date had been accurate.
My love affair with Marvel Legends is being strained at the moment. I picked up 3 figures this morning at Walmart and all of them had quality flaws. Forges knees were extremely gummy and loose. I literally thought his knee and leg were going to separate. It is as loose as a worn 80s Joe figure. Blink had the same problem but only on 1 leg and not as floppy. Gambits head is floppy and bobble head-ish. If one of the three had problems, I could have lived with it...but three? Come on Hasbro! No way a 20 figure should feel this cheap and subpar.
This is actually why I don't rush to get figures when they first come out anymore. My experience with Hasbro is that their "first runs" of Legends tend to have these kinds of issues... be it gummy plastics, tacky paint, or floppy joints... but later runs of the wave tend to have those kinds of things sorted. It's really a shame though that at $20 they can't keep the QC consistent.
You are probably spot on with waiting for later runs, but with distribution being so spotty I feel like I better get them now, or I may never see them for retail prices. This is a major issue as well. Anyone else have any QC issues with this wave? Especially Forge? Doesn’t help he is on an outdated mold(Bucky Cap).
100% this. I just had Beast, Jubilee and Gambit, though. I've complained about this, before. Just about everything on that mould is gonna have gummy joints. They need to retire it.
I'm hoping they start fulfilling at May 1 like the intended release date for the masses and that July 1 was just a safety net release date so they didn't have to cancel orders. I just updated my billing info and it dumped my Beast from it's individual slot of "not yet shipped" back into the rest of the wave order in the "july..." date.
Bbts is processing gambit amazon is about to ship beast. Only need confirmation on my jubilee orders. Though I may keep an extra gambit to give to my mom on mother’s day. He’s her her favorite x-man.
