Are the wires because they're in development or part of the installation?

Or you know. They could’ve just given us light up Mega and Giga.

Ok, those are cool enough to buy.

I'm still passing on all other light up gimmicks except for the siege optimus prime ones.

This kinda of makes me want a set of cores based on the prime masters that I can use with the Throne of the Primes. I don’t know how they’d do the light gimmick on some of those designs but if they made them it would make a nice display.

I only just today learned how to remove the fake powermaster clips in LG60 so I could actually use the previous SL kit's converted Giga and Mega as powermasters. Turns out you have to unscrew the back of the figure in order to unclip those things from the chest.

But cool, now that I actually have the chest openings clear in my LG60, I just may pick this set up.

It’s a good set, I just used it with the hasbro body since I liked the colors better

    This finally came in:

    overlord matrices.jpg

I dig it. I'm pretty sure the little loops there are to help pull it out of the slots. But yeah, I actually like the ease of activation on these, from the pics, I was thinking you had to turn them on then plug them into the chest. But you can just install them and push down on them while they're in there to turn them on and off.

They use CR1025s and equivalents, just slip them in the little slot at the back. Coincidentally, they're the same batteries used by their SL-23 Matrix.

Mine weren’t glued in. They were merely held in with friction.

I just did it, the powermaster plugs have no glue and due indeed just clip in but there is a very small amount on the bottom peg that connects the lower abdomen section, but again, was very little glue , almost nothing. I am kicking myself now for not trying it before and worrying about the glue so much. Was extremely easy to do. My boy is happy now !
