    Lol!! I keep saying the same thing, but then I somehow manage to find enough funds in the budget to buy more stuff lol.

    Man, I've lost a few Primes through the years, but I do still love my current Prime collection!!

    That's a lot of primes you have there! But yeah I know what you mean: somehow my wallet in it's dying state manages to get stabbed a few more times thanks to ambush transformer purchases lol!

    But for real, who needs stupid stuff like food and shelter when you can have more Optimus Prime toys? :p

    I nearly did, honestly lol. It really adds up quick.

    Yeah, and I've tried to do the same. I've actually got a small group of things that I need to sell currently, which will hopefully give me some space back.

    I think my biggest problem is that I don't yet know what a completed collection will look like for me. Before Studio Series and MPM, it was easy to say "I'll just keep the best version of each character." But these two lines have muddied the waters. While MPM Prime is a good representation, he still doesn't do some things as well as Buster Prime. SS Jazz looks way better than Movie 1 Jazz, but the scale is just completely off. I'm usually pretty forgiving, but I like it to at least be in the ballpark.

    The older figures also have nostalgia and better build quality working in their favor, which makes them hard to replace.

    Yeah, my Marvel collection is one that I never saw taking off as much as it did...

    Yea, unfortunately I lost Alternators Prime, Cybertron Prime, and RID Air Attack Prime, so I have a few that I have to rebuy.

    I feel your pain with the wallet stabs, but I do have to say, I do enjoy a good ambush purchase lol.

    But as long as I have my Primes, I'd live comfortably under a bridge :p 
    I gotta disagree, Sidearm Sideswipe is the most accurate version of the character we've gotten, sculpt and CGI wise.

    I’m torn on Devastator, because while it looks awesome and I’m eager to see how the other bots turn out, I really don’t have ample space (right now) to display them—individually or combined. I have a feeling I’ll kick myself for not getting them when I have the chance, but also...that ~$260 could go towards multiple 1/12 MCU figures or one MCU Hot Toy. It might help my decision if I saw more pictures of the constructicons/Devastator.

    Definitely think MPMs are waaay more playable than Hot Toys imo. That’s the benefit of robots not wearing clothes! Agreed about the price and size though, I have zero room (or money) for a massive HT collection. At minimum I’m hoping to get 4, just to have the absolute best looking versions of those favorite characters as possible. I ain’t affording no Prime1 or Sideshow statues haha. It is indeed exciting though. I can see the finish line on the distant horizon.

    I really need to get Animated voyager Prime back. No 2007 leader though?? Come on!

    MPM Jazz seems close enough for you to get away with it. It’ll certainly scale better with your collection than SS Jazz. Just something to consider. That whole mix/match thing with the old era and new era got too exhausting for me; thankfully I didn’t have too many old era figures left after I donated them before moving. I regret giving some of them up, like Landmine and Long Arm, but eBay’s always a thing.

    My comment about being unsure about my MPM collection actually stems from Prime and Ironhide. They’re both disappointments. I’m hoping Black Apple Prime turns out great, or I’ll be at a loss, and I don’t want to get LT-02 anymore. For Ironhide, I’m hoping there’s an OS one that fixes the chest because if not, I’m also at a loss. Worst case scenario, I’ll sell off Ironhide, keep Barricade because he’s amazing, and get Megatron. From there, it just depends if HasTak makes the other characters, and how good those figures of said characters are


    Agreed, sidearm sideswipe’s mold’s head is way too small and makes the chest look weird. Studio Series did it best, despite the visible foot heels

    Cuz Nitro Igniter Blitzwing is like the only BB movie toy of Blitzwing (besides that inaccurate tank figure) and they all sold out everywhere so the only ones left are hella expensive

    Not yet, I am working every spare hour on the Ratchets to finally get them done..
    I removed some plastic on the shoulders so the chest could colapse more into itself
    So the chest does not need the “full spread” and with the doors painted blue, it suddently all makes sense.
    It is the (cheap) Black Mamba version, it was 12 euro incl shipping.. I did spend more on his paint than the figure :rolleyes:

    This is the best photo I can manage because my camera leaves a lot to be desired for close-up shots. I can't get rid of that gap, and I know that it's a widespread problem that some have managed to solve.

    I do love Animated Voyager Prime, as well as the deluxe Cybertronian version!!

    But I do have the 07 abs the 09 leaders, but I figured that since my LT02 was in the pic, there was no need to pull those two out.

    And I agree that the head on Sidearm Sideswipe is a bit too small, but I think that everything else on that version is superior than its SS predecessor.
    Damn, that Prime looks amazing, and those Ratchets are looking really awesome as well!!
