The Decepticons can quickly outnumber the Autobots by simply repainting the seeker mold every color known to man.  

 

So why are all the seige target masters double-barrel... shouldn't some of them be single barrel?

 

Just want to point out quickly that while I never thought we’d get a new SlamDance for this Firestormer set (I always thought it’d be a Skytread repaint), there’s nothing to say we won’t get a cassette one in the future  

I’ll be honest, I never thought we’d see Flywheels in Generations (I remember when everyone was praying he was a T30 Blitzwing repaint!) yet we not only got a Titanmaster of him in Titan’s Return but a great one in Siege too. So while he may seem unlikely, we at least know he’s on HasTak’s radar.

Well, if you think about the effect parts attachment points, a few of them are.

Definitely getting Sideswipe! Glad to see more G2 in the Generations line~

 

I never knew much about slamdance. Is he suppose to be like that?

 

slamdance was made of grand slam and rain dance, one was a blue jet that turned into a cassette and pants, the other a red tank that turned into a cassette and torso, this version ditches the cassette modes and inverts the bot mode colors

 

Slamdance is a weird ass choice for a repaint, but it's probably the one that makes the most sense for a Flywheels repaint. The Real Highlights here are G2 Sideswipe and Skywarp. The Siege Starscream mold is one of my favorites from the line so far, so being able to seeker it up is always a plus, and that red windshield on Sideswipe makes the figure a thousand times better.

 

Of course, what am I thinking, this is wfc, this was before time.

 

So i was really on the fence about the Firestormer set because i already have Sideswipe and wasn't looking for a straight same character repaint but damn

Edit: I thought i typed this in. Skywarp and Firestormer set are on my buy list. Still no give on Greenlight. Don't like the base mold.

 

With SW accompanied by 3 battlemasters (esp. that Pteraxadon repaint), I will probably have this be my only experience with the Siege seekers... and then sell him off by himself.

Greenlight is a guaranteed purchase for me. Inverting my intent with SW though, may sell that battlemaster.

But I'm not convinced I would buy a box set just for that Slamdance.

Maybe someone with a little time and talent (means I'm out) could digibash inverting SD's colors just to see what it looks like for bot mode?

Or maybe Battleslash, with a new silver head, red and black deco, and pairing it with matching tank from this siege duocon mold? Call it Destro, or just add an -n since "Destron" is already a TF name. *shrug*

 

Skywarp looks like shit! He doesn't even look black, he looks dark gray. The purple is way too dark. And the silver battle damage is atrocious. I'm probably gonna have to do a complete repaint. What a disappointment. Of course Hasbro has to fuck up my favorite seeker. And to make it even worse they have to pack him with garbage I have no interest in just to jack up the price. 

 

They wanted to repaint Skytread into someone.

 

Given Hasbro's recent naming conventions, wouldn't an inverted combination of Rain Dance and Grand Slam be "Grand Rain?"

Yeah, they do. Tends to always be that way in most TF lines, the trade off being that the Decepticons we do get seem to be a little bigger and badder than the average Autobot.

 

so is grand slam a denny's exclusive?

 

Will get Skywarp for sure, still on the fence about G2 SS and Slamdance. Rather wait and see if they do a proper one somewhere down the line.
