Postage on the package was 972, so around $18.50 USD.

Didn't Spence saying that postage was almost a third of his weekly money? Or am I misremembering that?

Well, it is the Philippines... and maybe he meant shipping out all of the prizes. But I stand by my mindset that he knew actually shipping out the prizes would be a cost to consider when announcing that there would be prizes issued. Or he should have. Maybe he was hoping to train falcons or something.

No... that seems like it would be more expensive. They can't be cheap to domesticate.

So wait. Spencer who owns and supplies a bar in the Philippines claims to make less than $180 a week? Lolololol. Such bullshit.

Unfortunately no, we haven't had a Kickstarter update in a while now. With the trouble Maas has been facing it's hard to say what the future will hold for MM. I don't think the project is dead but I wouldn't expect to see the comics or Yamazuki campaign any time soon.

Comics are totally separate from the toys. The comics are being handled by @CZ Hazard

Exactly. The comics are completely separate from the toy line and MAAS, so there shouldnt be any carry over from the downfall of Spence.

I dont think the comics were expected to have anything ready for shipment until the fall?

I just hope that the MAAS situation and the questionable future of Mayhem Mekanics other planned products doesnt take a significant toll on CZ’s enthusiasm for his storyline.

Im sure the comics will be fine and Im still very much interested in having them, but I would think genuine excitement for the product line would result in a more creative and “fleshed out” story arc.

Hey guys, comic update coming via Kickstarter very soon. The comics are earmarked separately from the toys and we're not expecting any problems with print or distribution.

But yeah, there should have been an update this year already and that's totally on me. So, sorry about that. No excuses. I've let it become background while the art team have been doing their thing, but all 30 pages are drawn and coloured and should be ready for print once all the final lettering, spell checks and final editing etc is done.

Good to know! Immensely pleased to know things are still on-track. I know I likely won't receive the physical copies until all 6 issues are finished, but I look forward to the digital issues just as much - I just want to read it now!

Woo, thanks CZ for the update. After the initial issue is done, do you have a rough estimate on how often you're trying to get the remaining 5 issues out? Are you shooting for 2-3 months between each issue?

They'll probably be a larger gap between issues 1 and 2, and then we're hoping to be every two months after that.

Will there be a HC/TP collected edition after that? That is what I am hoping for.
