To anyone that has the set and the Jumpstarters, can Topspin combine with Roadfire and Twin Twist combine with Dai Atlas as per the comics included with the instructions in this set?

I got the set on Saturday and I just now opened it. I've only had the chance to check out Dai Atlas so far.

I share everyone's dislike for the mechanism that makes the waist wobbly. Though it's at least slightly better than I was expecting. I was worried it was so wobbly it couldn't even be displayed. But it displays just fine. I still can't help but wish it had been designed better. I think it's so unsecure because their intention was to give him a hint of waist swivel. I couldn't care less about waist swivel. I'd rather the waist snap securely.

None of the other nitpicks that bother other people matter to me. I can live with the hollow legs. I can live with the smaller face. It's only that waist that bothers me.

I'm still glad I got it.

So which micromasters do you guys recommend to get with big Powered? Every single one? I think there’s 5 pairs. Wanna make sure they go well with top spin and twin twist

Yeah, the waist bothers me the most too. I think I'm going to work on an easy mod to stabilize the area when I have a lot of time to mess with it. Really just need to add some additional friction to the inner slot so that it locks down...

Even if they kept the mechanism 100% as is, if they had just added 2 tabs, 1 on each side of it. A tab on each side of the waist portion that snaps into notches on the torso portion, or vice versa. I really don’t care all too much about waist swivel.

I'm not sure what you're asking. You mean which Siege Micromasters?

yeah thats me too. Just check tfwiki Zone cartoon, they have a list. There is 21 of them I believe that appeared in the cartoon. So those are the only ones I have ( either old vintage ones or new seige ones ) I am only missing the one blue exclusive rabbicrater, which Ill never get. Wish takara would have done that guy and included him with this set.

The cartoon, being only a single episode, keeps things pretty brief for these characters. I would just get whatever you think is cool - but so far I am getting all of them. There should be a few yet to be revealed.

Will do. I’m thinking the exceptions are the cassettes since I don’t plan on getting sound wave. Thanks a lot

Man, I really need to open this thing. I received it a few weeks ago now, and still haven't even opened the shipping package.

Yeah, I'd love all the ones that appeared in Victory and Zone. And I'd love to get Clipper and Raikuru, who were never made into toys.

There are just a handful of non-cartoon Micromasters I want. I want the remaining racecar patrol because that's the only Micromaster set I had as a kid. I'd like Trip-Up because he's a '67 or '68 Mustang Fastback, which is my dream car (I've owned a '68 coupe before but never a fastback). And I want the Micromaster partners for Big Powered and Star Convoy.

Got my Big Powered set on Friday. Was able to look at it on Saturday. Same issues as everyone else reported. Legs are floppy on Sonic Bomber , waist won't lock tight on Roadfire, loose waist armature on Dai Atlas. Putting future on the deluxes.
Have an idea on how to lock Dai Atlas's waist and torso together better. Need to work out a few kinks yet.
The shoulders on both deluxes were tight as heck. Got them loosened tho, but still stiff.
Still a fun set imo. The small face on Dai Atlas doesn't bother me, so going to leave that as is.

I guess I lucked out with my set. Aside from the issue with the waist mechanism on Dai Atlas, I’m not having the issues with the other 2 that I’m hearing about. Sonic Bomber’s legs are what I would describe as only slightly loose, definitely not floppy. He can stand up just fine. The only issue with my Roadfire is that the head is a little loose, but not bobble-head loose.
