I would have like to see more of his character, his character didn't see to be like those typical jocks.
It seems like they mostly made all the right decisions with this film and cutting out things that were not so necessary. Travis nails the pacing in Bumblebee. I wish the same kind of thought process was considered for things like the age of consent scene in AOE or Sam's long ass montage of him trying to find a job in DOTM.
Yeah it’s a good choice. And it’s nice to know the stuff they removed was a conscious effort even though those scenes were and sound fun.
From what was talked about I feared that this would make Bumblebee another TF film where the CGI star takes a backseat AGAIN to the humans, which isn't what it's all about. Tripp and those kids were the most boring parts of the film since they're just there to remind us that they're dicks and Charlie had a bad childhood. Bumblebee kept it simple and made the Human/TF aspect about the same whether it be about Charlie and Bee or the villains trying to find them.
I think those things actually added some realism to the movie: Charlie, being an independent girl, would be the type of young Woman, who would definitely have admirers, as well as enemies-especially during the teenage years.
Thank god. Honestly, I feel like the human aspect of this film was dialed up to an 11 and just so...uninteresting except Charlie.
Cool with me that the boy angle was cut. Besides in my personal head canon, she\'s more attracted to the mean girl than the boy so (shrug)
