Most likely- the white one definitely did, so I'm presuming they'll do it for all the colors.

Hm... while TE fits a bit more with megs' style, I Prefer MS a bit more. It also bothers me a tad that TE is taller, since if either megs or prime can be taller, it needs to be megs. Is there any Diecast in MS's prime? Think i've heard there isn't, but that chrome bar in his waist made me doubt that.

(also cause no one's answered this question, the plastic feel normal or chalky? heard both from reveiws)

 

I believe the bar is diecast. On the paint, mine feels fine to me but maybe the finish varies.

Ah, so an even more cartoon megs, yeah the normal release would probably fit better with em. But I mean, could still fit.... idk, no experience with this prime so I have no idea if it would work.

 

I hope MS does an all blue version based on Delta Magnus cab.

 

Just an FYI for anyone who might be looking for a good faction symbol for MS-01. I just received a metal one I bought off ebay that I will attach the link below to from the same seller. They were somewhat pricey at $5 a pop but figured to top an amazing figure it would be worth it. They come with little tabs on the back but I just clipped them off and smoothed them out and added some 3M thin double sided tape and whammo!

The autobot one is shiny metal which isn't what I would have picked to go with Optimus but it does look really good that it's embossed and not just a flat sticker. I liked them so much I just ordered 1 more autobot and a decepticon one to go with MS-01W and MS-01B.

The decepticon one looks a little better in my opinion as it's all painted. This figure is Emperor of Destruction by Infinite Transformation.

Still pisses me off that they never released the Megamaster chestplate that takes that Decepticon symbol separately for those of us who got him in the first run and didn't receive the checkplate. I like how that autobot symbol looks on MS01. Surprising since it was designed for a figure much larger than him. Not keen on using Megamaster's symbol on MP36, though - it's just too big.

 

I really like that custom Megatron head. The helmet could probably be a little more rounded as to give the effect of smoothness like it was in the animation but other than that, so much better than MP36 or any other MP Meg's available.

 

Agreed that the Decepticon is a little big but it's looking better to me for the time being than the sticker that was on there before. I may switch it to MS-01B when it's finally released.

That looks great. I was thinking I may want to make the yellow bits on his waist like that. Did you paint that, or are those decals you made?

Nice. I think that's how I want to add the yellow arm details on to the metallic version when I get it. Painting in yellow is always such a pain.

 

Do we know if the red is metallic too or is it just the silver and blue that got that treatment? I can't tell despite how many times I look at the pics.  

 

This pic suggests that the red is glossy, or glossier than the standard version. The metallic version is on the left.
I try to not put too much credence into what any prototype looks like, and wait to actually see the final product to see what it really is. How it actually turns out. That pic shows that his head is metallic blue but not the antennas on the sides? I kinda doubt it will actually come out like that.
