"Sky Bridge?" Really, IDW, you couldn't be bothered or didn't want to use the proper name?

Presumably it's because it's just a trip to the moon and not through actual space.

You're still technically traveling through space. It's not an interplanetary or interstellar distance, but still a trip through space.

Well we could also be disappointed that the legendary space bridge is just being used to travel up to a moon.

Maybe. My guess is that they're still probably differentiating it from more long-distance travel, which will presumably then be called a space bridge.

Fans just like consistency, I suppose. From a branding standpoint, and trademark maintenance as well, it's important.

Just look at my signature. Some TF game from a year or two ago uses the name Energy Cube. No, not ENERGON, the trademarked and classic form of energy TFs use to survive. It's the ENERGY Cube, which as we all know has been the real name for the past 30+ years and the Energon Cube was always a mistake and the true name was ENERGY CUBE the whole time.

Another small thing. Does it matter? Not really. So if it doesn't matter, why don't they just do it correctly? It's like intentionally switching the arm Shockwave's laser is on in the Bay movies - does not enhance the story yet irks long-time fans.

Y'all ever heard of a Space Elevator? That's what this looks like. Perhaps space bridges haven't been invented yet.

The only way that would work is if the moon was in a Geosynchronous orbit.

Or, they get to the top of the space elevator and jump the rest of the way. They're space robots, after all.

Orion Pax: Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight
Soundwave: Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer

I would have preferred Moon Bridge. I think it sounds a lot cooler.

    Oh neat, a G1 cartoon-inspired cover!

Boy, would have been nice if their post-Furman stuff had taken more cues from said source material

But then we wouldn't have Pyra Magna complaining about Prime for countless issues?
