Another mini project while I wait for parts of my super ginrai to print. My favorite bot-bots so far have been the more animal ones, so I wanted to make one of those, while keeping the theme the same as my last one. I will probably do a few more at some point in the future, but if I do I think Ill just make one big thread. Any suggestions of objects to do in the future are appreciated. Update: As I had a couple of requests, I have put this guy up on shapeways. I have him up with the tolerances I used on my home printer, so be warned you may need to tweak them when he arrives by either sanding or floor polishing. The tail and head both pin on with standard diameter paperclips. That is pretty darn awesome. The name is also inspired, as is not going with an actual mouse as the beast mode.
Thanks man, I figured a mouse would be too obvious Nah, they're not at the minute. The problem is at shapeways prices each one would end up costing like $15 each, which feels like overcharging.

Man, you're killing it with these little guys! I was thinking, if you felt really ambitious, a Botbot Combiner would be pretty slick. Like a desktop PC that your mouse and USB plug into. Maybe a keyboard and a monitor. It sounds like a lot, now that I've typed it out! Maybe just a garage door opener or a TV remote!
See, that would actually be a really neat idea, but I think I'd need to design then from the ground up with that intention. That said, you've given me an entirely different idea, so watch this space
