That's weird. I can only find one other photo but all info I find states that what I said is correct. Besides the photo can you show other proof? All I can find is Jim Fitzgerald drove a 280zx #38. Not don devendorf or tony adamowicz. I generally would like to read up on it. Not just for the toy but because I'm a pretty big racing history nut.

@Kamen Ranger Bat March 10, 1982 6 hour Fuji race, the engine blew and they got a dnf (did not finish for those that don't know). They probably had to switch the number due to someone else using 38 but I dunno for sure. Also in 88 he drove the number 4 280z with Reynolds at the glen.

this may be a stupid question so pardon my ignorance: Are these Select figures limited? meaning is it worth the pre-order or is waiting until they release risky? these arent availble here in retail like Target or Walmart right?

    Last question first
Appear to be online and specialist retailers (IE Comic stores through Diamond) only.

Go and look for Select Swoop, Ricochet or Megatron at any of the toy shopping websites you use and see what the stock levels are like. Genuinely have no idea, still waiting for the store I use in the UK to get them, but my feeling is their availability is similar to the Prime Wars specials last year that Amazon had.

Megatron is still available on Hasbro pulse and I got mine in Feb 21st, so it could be hit or miss.

My suggestion is, if interested and are able to afford it, preorder.

If it’s something that you’re on the fence about, wait and see.

    Very nice.

Unfortunately, I’m thinking since both Smokescreen and Bluestreak will be special releases not labeled under WFC:Siege, that we will only see Prowl in next year’s new Netflix series.

They’re both branded under wfc:siege, smokescreen is gs wfcs06 (generations selects war for cybertron siege 06) and the 35th anniversary boxes at toyfair were standard siege boxes with a 35th anniversary banner on the angled side

The selects figures are branded as just WFC-GS (War for cybertron generations selects). I don't think Combat Megatron has Siege Branding any where on his packaging besides his reprinted wave 1 Megatron instructions that just have a name change. so I'm guessing the WFC-GS tag will carry over to any WFC selects figures released over the whole trilogy. What I'm trying to say is the Selects Figures are apart of WFC they just don't necessary belong to any single part of the trilogy, that doesn't mean they won't appear in siege related media though. Like you said though the 35th anniversary figures are branded Siege having it slapped across their packaging.

"Siege" isn't on Combat Megatron's packaging, but it is in his instructions.

I know, I pointed that out in my original post. I said combat Megatron has no siege branding besides his instructions which the only difference from his original counter parts instructions is the name printed on them. So the question that I’m asking is that since no where on the outer packaging (unless you open it and look at his instructions) And both so far hasbro’s and Takara’s official solicitations don’t mention them (mainly Smokescreen for Takara) being apart of siege specifically, do we categorize the WFC selects figures as their own line in the trilogy or as a subline to siege like the 35th anniversary figures?
