There’s probably a bunch of things that happened between that prototype to the final version. Did we ever seen the prototype transform? It’s possible they were just sculpted pieces or glue together. Until a vid of the transformation is out (or pics), we don’t really know since we don’t know how WJ modify the chest for the new transformation.

Also I’m trying to remember all the movie prime toys I have and I think only the mpm have the abs as part of the cab; ROTF leader and SS use faux parts. Maybe the original 07 Leader did, I can’t remember.

 

Yeah, seems to me like the proportions will always be somewhat off with the abs unless they “cheat” with faux parts

 

nope, also fake parts. Don't think any figure used the actual part of the truck for em until the MPM came around.

 

Yeah, I have and will probably keep it at least for a little while if I get this WJ version. I expect more accessories will be produced for that scale.

 

Just like @hthrun beat me to it. This LT02 is awesome. Just seems a bit small with the UFO annular/Boku trailer. Other than that you can’t really go wrong with it!

 

Maybe they screwed it up because they wanted to avoid fake parts for the sake of avoiding fake parts.

Yes, that's the main issue with the MPM that bled over to WJ's attempt to salvage it.

 

I'm gonna get this BA/WJ and turn my LT02 into Altmode. Cause I've got an OS ROTF BMB Megatron coming from Show.Z been a month now!!

 

The prototype was at least fragile in structure back at the exhibition in october.
Wonder if the figure was re-designed again since then.

 

in the spirit of keeping things on track...you guys can bump the lt02 thread...
and in keeping with this thread...I love this figure, he's got so many improvements and will win all the naysayers when it's out, it's that good (just my internet anon belief/opine).

 

I'm not hellbent (this is my first post about keeping things on track in this thread, far be it hell bent), but I just don't see why ppl keep re-posting about their disdain for the "abs"...once ok...but then to keep posting about the disdain and going off topic...that's why I suggested people bump the lt02...
If you decided this isn't for you and rather have lt02, you have your support threads...but if you merely dislike the abs, just post about that...simple I think

For example I love both MS and TE's recent "optimus"...but I'm not going to go in either thread and say MS is better than TE or vice versa...however I will go into them and suggest someone oversize them.   (I do have a preference but admire them both, the designers did a good job)
