That's how I thought it would work, but Target's computer actually takes off the $10/$25 coupon first, then applies the 25% off on the remainder. So hit the $50/$100 threshold before taking the 25% cartwheel coupon into consideration.

Agreed... the threshold hits first, then cartwheel. Now if I could just find ultra magnus and shockwave...

Had a very helpful target employee help me return and then repurchase all the TF’s I’d bought over the course of the last two days. Had purchased them from at least three different targets so I didn’t get the savings.

Had all the reciepts. Explained the situation. Told him I wanted to repurchase everything so that I maximized the savings. And he happily helped. Saved me at least $50 or more by going back and retro actively adding the $25 off $100 on top of the 25% off coupon.

He was also able to override the 4 item limit on the 25% off item limit.

This was a great way for me to pay for seige 2 leaders, a studio series voyager, and all of seige wave 2

I applied the 10/50, 25/100 coupon first. Then the Cartwheel 25% coupon. I did have to add a Tiny Turbo to the order when it was $49.98 to get it over the $50 threshold.

I don't think Target ever listed a preorder for Siege Jetfire - I remember specifically because I pre-ordered it from Amazon but was planning to switch to Target when it went up, but it never did (as far as I know).

The only issue I had was I tried to scan both codes too quickly. I scanned the $25 off $100, then got a "Server is down, please try again later" error when I scanned the 25% off code, waited an extra 30 or so seconds then scanned the 25% off code again and it worked.

I wish we could use Cartwheel online

The stock in-store is garbage (Online too, but ya don’t have to go through the hassle of going to the store xD)

Thanks for all the posts about those Target deals. Helped me get Shockwave and SS Leader Megatron for much more acceptable prices.

Used to, but literally every figure I've put in recently has said it's out of stock, even ones I KNOW my store has.

I've been cleaning out Target. I got Studio Series Scrapmetal for $10.72, Seige Leader Shockwave for $26.80, and Studio Series Prime (2nd version for Jetfire combo) for $16.90. This sale is nuts. I haven't bought Hasbro in over a year because of their ridiculous prices for what you get, but with these prices I can't resist.

Transformers TCG also qualifies for the discounts.

Siege has been very spotty at my local Targets. I have never seen Siege leaders or I would have bought them with the discount. I never saw Wave One deluxes either.

I bought Ironhide, Sixgun, SS Shatter, and SS Jetfire. It was $116 pre discount with tax. Hit the $25 off $100 coupon and then the 25% off. Ended up being $67. Not bad at all. I was thinking about buying some other figures and using the $10 off $50. I kind of told my son he couldn't have the same class figure he already has. Since he has CW Prowl and TR Megatron, the Siege versions were out.

Sorry bout that! :(  I did screw it up - which explains why I kept seeing the $25 off of $100 only take $20 off (at the end). It's a confusing mess... haven't had time to analyze the receipts to figure out the phenomenon...

But let's look at the MATHS:

I grabbed $140 worth of TF toys (on my bad assumption) because 25% off equals $105 --> I hit the threshold, and $25 off will then total $80. Right? WRONG.

Here's what actually happens: $140 gets $25 off FIRST ---> new total is $115. Then the 25% off, or $86.25 TOTAL.

TAKEAWAY: Don't bother doing math in-store; just add up the total MSRPs to equal $100 (or close), and keep your TF items to 4 or less. Your total will be $75 x .75 = $56.25 (+ tax).

FYI: Scan the coupon FIRST. The category coupons don't need exact values (as shown). For example, your $49.98 purchase would still receive the $10 off (most likely, as this is what has happened in the past).

I grab an extra item, in case, but I scan the coupon first. Usually, getting close to threshold is enough to activate the category coupon. A TF voyager and deluxe should get $10 off, even though you're technically not over $50.

Does Target get more shipments of toys on certain days? I wasn't sure if it was like BestBuy who makes movies available every Tuesday.
