    It's believed this takes place in the short amount of time between "Return of Optimus Prime Part 2" and the first episode of Headmasters. Where there was a truce between Optimus and Galvatron after the Hate Plague incident.

    Convoy: Wait, Galvatron! Maybe this being is...

    Hmmm...okay, so the Generations Select Star Convoy is being promoted as a Pre-Battlestars Star Convoy - of whom then reverts back to regular Convoy for Headmasters in order to die and later take on the Battlestars Star Convoy at his rebirth later on? Eh, not really a fan of that.

    So did Sakamoto change his artstyle or has he been replaced?  Hope he hasn\'t, as I really like his stuff.

    So what's the genegen consensus on the reception of Star Convoy? I think that the robot mode is spot on in terms of appearance.

    Nope, not Sakamoto. This is a Generations Selects toy - the Legends toyline is over - and they've clearly chosen somebody new to do manga for this line.

    Are they establishing this Star Convoy as being a different version of Optimus Prime from before the Battlestars comic and unrelated to the original JapG1 version? Does this mean that Star Convoy and Super Megatron are going to revert back to Optimus Prime and Galvatron so that they can die and come back again as Star Convoy and Super Megatron later?

    ...Why? Sometimes the stuff that goes on in these Japanese continuities in order to include exact toy-accurate bodies and not breach the already fairly vague continuity is ridiculous.

    I forget, is the upcoming Armada/Micron Legend Convoy going to be an LG-EX release? Hopefully Sakamoto will be back for the manga if it is. This manga isn’t all that great, whoever wrote it.

    The Legends line in general are done and over with. We STILL don't know what's the deal with the Armada Optimus Prime toy we saw a few months back.
