i'm all in for updating my collection. After transforming my older figures i have a greater appreciation for current engineering, transformation simplicity, and quality standards set by wfc siege.

I'm hoping for a new Jazz and Wheeljack for sure.

I hate to admit it, but I went with that Jazz over the RTS version because he's technically more accurate (visually) in robot mode because he has no wings, much like the original cartoon. Because of that, he's grown on me. =\

I also use the Generations (pre-Thrilling 30) (shared mold with Tracks) for my Wheeljack. The one you have up there is nice, but requires upgrades to make it fully accurate. (Still not a bad figure when completed, though.)

 

Transmetal II Blackarachnia had a detachable bra.

 

So to anybody with Soundwave and his cassettes, does Soundwave's chest not open if you've got Ravage slotted into it? Mine keeps catching and getting stuck.

 

Can I get a full hour of Hound kicking ass?  

2 x Sideswipe launchers and pistols. Might be the 2 red pistols from Sixgun instead of Sideswipe. Plus another Sideswipe/Sixgun red pistol painted white.

Mine did the same thing, then I noticed there was a slight bit of extra plastic sticking out on one of his legs that form the side of the tape mode. It added about an extra millimeter to its width and prevented it from fitting properly in SW's chest. I carefully shaved it off with an xacto and now it fits perfectly. Still very snug, but the door can now open and close without getting stuck. Just don't put the tape in with the back facing out, I tried that and almost couldn't get it out again lol.

Edit 4-16: Updated my update by moving some figures around. The more that I thought about it, the more that I figured that highly-articulated figures should always be ranked higher than ones with less articulation.

Prime and the Cassetticons were actually good pals before the war...

 

Don’t know why I didn’t try this combo sooner.

 

Applying small amounts of paint before I eventually go over them with a shoe polish wash.

 

Yeah, it depends how I put him in. One way, he won't close and the other it just barely fits and closes... But when you press the button it doesn't pop-out like it's supposed to, or as it does with Lazerbeak.

 

I investigated this ravage in the chest issue. If I spend a few extra seconds cleaning up the conversion to tape mode he works great. I had the issue too at first. Make sure the upper front and rear leg tabs are in position. Make sure he is flat. Sometimes the leg butterfly joints are hanging on the detent. Also make sure the little tabs on the lower legs are flush. I know the individual figures vary. But if I take a couple extra seconds with mine I don’t get the issue.

 

Is it just me, because I see this Ultra Magnus looks actually better than the MP one....

 

My humble opinion. So take this with a grain. I believe this is the original MP Magnus design that Hasui was working on when Kobayashi took over and they made it not an armored prime and “more toon”. The rumor was that Hasui was designing an armored Magnus at that time and now Hasui is on this siege line. (My evidence of that part is my signed poster)

And yeah I hated MP Magnus and went for KFC Stack instead despite it also having obvious flaws.
