And cost half as much to make and market, which means it didn't HAVE to earn as much back. And Bumblebee's the one the studio's planning a sequel for.

But it was a higher profit.

They spent far less on Bumblebee and placed it at a time of year where movies make much less. TLK had a bigger budget, bigger marketing, and released at a time where it made the most it was ever going to make, and it still flopped.

A movie that has a lower box office but turns a profit makes more money then a bigger box office that doesnt turn a profit.

After all, even if Bumblebee only made $1 profit, that is still more than what Paramount made off TLK.

Hmmm....Cybertron and Earth collide. Wouldn't that kill the majority (if not all) of organic life on Earth when that happens? I mean, it's not like we're talking about a small bump here.

it would kill all life as two planets colliding would destroy them both. even if a part of earth survives anything living on that part would most likely still die from the lack of a atmosphere.

(Apparently I'm not able to quote Autobot Burnout to reply to him)
    Apparently, she's human.
    And that's straight from Lorenzo!

    And you believe that?
    You believe him?

Why is everyone acting like the “cliffhanger” at the end of TLK is such a big deal?

It’s not even that dramatic or anything, it’s not even that exciting. Plus the movie was marketed to be the final chapter.

There was already a happy ending where the bots went back to Cybertron. Enough said. No need to continue.

Except Optimus is back on Cybertron, along with the knights. And maybe the dinobots if they were inside that knightship.

The deceptions are on earth. Only a few. Or who knows. Megatron is frozen and floating in space like Optimus was.

Bam, movie idea right there. Have humanity be conflicted with preserving Earth, abandoning Earth, or destroying Cybertron to help the Earth, while the Transformers are conflicted with vice versa.
Then you have Quintessa going around trying to convince other humans to turn on Unicron, and the real Quintessions arriving to capture Optimus for real this time.

While all that is going on the atmosphere and land is getting fucked up, a bunch of natural disasters happening. Then Unicron's surface under the Earth slowly being exposed.

Well...if you're going off your cliff notes, once Cybertron collides with the Earth, there would be no movie. Humans...if any are left, wouldn't be preserving anything other than their own lives, or trying their best to. They would not care what the Transformers are doing. With the current tech that humans have in the movie, there's no way to "abandon" the Earth after a cataclysmic event. The human race would be wiped out with an impact of something the size of Cybertron. I appreciate you drumming up ideas, but unfortunately the critics of your idea saying it's unrealistic are correct.

Ignoring all that to try to make a story "work" will have more people hating this movie more than The Last Jedi. Sorry.
