Transform & Roll Out makes Gigapower look lightning fast when it comes to releasing a product. I guess we'll see this in 3 to 4 years. Looks nice, though.

THey've had one release and it was sabotaged and outright stolen in the midst of production by a crazy man. Highly doubt it's reflective of this company.

Hell yeah, Energon Prime is totally underrated. I'd want them to do an Energon Megatron too, I love that old Space Swan of doom.

They were about perfect besides missing some needed articulation. They can update all that now.
Titan Battle Micro Masters wouldve made cool pilots for Prime's lil squad.
We used to call him fat. He needs his revenge.

Every Unicron Trilogy toy would benefit from this.
Tweak the design add some modern engineering and bam! Hell if you just threw some knees and ankle rockers on those old dogs, they'd blow most modern TFs out of the water.
Toy accuracy and show accuracy all one and the same. Don't have to pull some backbreaking engineering to mimic a 30 year old animation error.
My body is ready for the UT Era.

The delay is legendary. On top of that, its also not a good start for any company (of sorts) to have such a tremendous set-back on a product release. And in the end, it was somewhat of a flat reception. It's a bad stigma. The only way they will shake that is to ensure they properly develop this one and release it in about the same time frame as other 3P's do and keep that trend going. In the mean time, they deserve the pot shots.

I do like the design. And I hope it will be a much better release than their Hova.

Now THAT'S the price I was expecting, which was why I commented earlier in the thread to not get excited about the cheap price mentioned earlier.

That being said, I expect prices from China will be a little lower, maybe around $150 or so hopefully.

I think Energon Prime is appropriately rated. Out of the UT Primes, he by FAR suffers the worst for the sake of the super mode, and only when combined with Wing Saber does his super mode actually look good.

Eh, he's fun and I like him a lot. He's got decent articulation, a great sculpt, and a unique bulky (or fat) look that we rarely see on Transformers. On top of all that, he came with a proper trailer that transformed into a base with landing pads and launchers. The drones are really well made and fun to mess with. He's incredibly unique among Transformers designs because he feels more like a Megazord or Voltron character when he's combined. I say he's underrated because he was absolutely despised by collectors when he was first released, hence the "Fatimus" nickname...so anyone liking the design is kinda rare. I'd say he's better than Armada Prime and worse than Cybertron Prime. I dunno, Energon was basically my G1, I'm that weirdo who wants Masterpieces of Energon Starscream and Mirage more than anything else.

I agree. Getting a properly handled Energon Prime would be amazing. I forget if I said it here or another thread, but if they handled the "Fatimus" appearance more like Prime Bulkhead rather than Animated Bulkhead, he could be an amazingly done figure. Or, maybe treat him as a proper combiner with his limbs working to reproportion the torso and thighs rather than wear the components as sleeves?

The wings look too long to me. If Maketoys is still planning theirs I'm gonna go with that since they did a good job on Galaxy Meteor (not perfect but still good.)
Energon Prime at the very least is a fun toy; I got the platinum edition because I missed it back in the day and I enjoyed him. I always mentalliy justified the fatimus look as just him being more of a civilian and losing the thicker limbs. I wouldn't mind some sort of update and I was actually happy about CW at least giving it an homage (3rd parties should have made a trailer and grand force set for it imo).
Energon Megatron was just a cooler G1 Galvatron so there's no way to go wrong with that design.

I just saw it on Facebook. PLEASE let there be a red/black “Galaxy Force” repaint!

I hope Reprolabels makes a set for the key symbols on the shoulders if they ever do. Personal favorite touch of this coloration.

It's such a seemingly simple deco change yet it works so well. I have both the original and the Armada repaint and I've always loved how both look.
