Alt mode looks cool, robot mode looks quite eh . Too much solid black , he needs some more red and white imo.

 

Fantastic, was waiting for this guy out of the mold. Looks like he suits it really well. Love the 38s.

Make his abs and thighs white, and his biceps blue and he\'s perfect.

 

Looks way better than Prowl. Still going to pass on it but still a vast improvement on the mold

 

Yeah,the deco is kind of nice,but he really needs more red for me to be interested. He reminds me of CW Smokescreen in that respect (which is why I never got him either). I'm also concerned about well the translucent plastic in the knee joints will hold up over the years.

 

Good that they release all 3 carbots from the Prowl mold.
I am tempted to sell my henkei right away and keep the combiner wars for earth mode.

 

God dammit the new Smokescreen is so much superior to everything that came before!

The CW version looks better, is more fun as a toy and I'm not gonna keep buying new versions of a character I have no attachment to.

 

Prowl doesn't actually have any either. Not that I could find at least!

It drives me crazy that something as simple as those shoulder cannons can make me want that mold all over again. Its like Malibu Stacy with her new hat.

I think I’m gonna stick with Prowl and Barricade.

 

Wow now the alt mode really looks like a running shoe in those colors...

 

It's like he's wearing blue high heels that's too big for him. Reminds me of Daisy Duck. Car mode looks nice.

 

Smokescreen is one of my favorite characters since I owned the G1 toy as a kid, but this version of him put me off at first. Something didn't seem right.

Then I figured it out. Like Prowl, he has too much black. His legs need to be silver so things stand out on his torso.

Also would have been nice if they gave him a different bumper like his G1 and Masterpiece selves got from Prowl and Bluestreak.

Pleased to see him. I hope someone makes Prowl some Missiles too - otherwise I\'ll just pinch the guns from Barricade I guess.
I was kinda thinking he might be a Pulse store exclusive - but perhaps that can still apply to Blustreak.

 

I think he could do with white thighs to help break up the sheer amount of black

 

A bit generic looking, but I think he'd fit well on my shelf.

 

Actually looks better than Prowl, in my opinion. The different head with its slightly smaller proportion of the face (I think), weapons on top and colors make it work. Not a big fan of the ‘38’ being in Cybertronian, but I’m sure someone will create a stickerset for that anyway.

And the best part imo: this is a shot of the actual figure, not a cg render - and it shows the head working wonders. This bodes well for the Barricade repaint whose head looked very weird in his cg render shot.
