For stability I think their Superion beats out Constructor, and their is bruticus far behind them. Superion’s arms weight 11oz and the others are 16oz, so that may help a little.

As for limb connection, Superion is on par with Constructor being very secure, with bruticus again being last for the leg connections. Though Superion’s behind the leg kibble is very loose and will flop around when posing and will need constant readjusting, which is annoying. The elbow bot can come undone also. I do like how Constructors individual bots locked in place so you don’t have to fiddle with them.

I think they did a good job with Constructor(under TW), then took a step back with their bruticus, and then 2 steps forward with Superion. Excited to see if they are learning and will take more steps forward with the next ones.

I agree with you on Bruticus. UT Ragnaros is my fav 3P Bruticus combiner. Far better quality than Zeta.

And the kibble (cockpits and wings) of all the planes for Zeta’s Kronos is too floppy. I can’t wait to see how it looks and hangs in combined mode. I kinda figured I was going to be in for some surprises when I saw how they fold Silverbolt up in to a box and stuff him in to a mold in combined mode. Meh. Still the only viable decent looking 3P Superion out now... until FT releases their Superion in 2050.

It's your opinion, albeit a minority opinion. I respect that.

No, quote was free. Sent them dimensions and what I was looking to do, they sent back an estimate of what I would need.

I think it's better to send it in mm. But there shouldn't be any difference tbh.

I would say ragnaros is more stable but not better quality or proportions. The combiner elbows can snap if your not careful, and the long skinny legs and thighs don’t look right.

The kibble in Superion looks great and will stay in place, it just when posing it can become untabbed, which is just an annoyance and common in a lot of figures.

I hope ft can get combiners right on their first try and learn from problems with their OS. Time will tell.

I’m guessing this was asked before. Is there any chance for a G2 repaint?

Last time I checked Constructor can't stand like a champ on one leg. That's how solid this guy is combined....Even partly.

Also display wise you can't beat the simplicity of glass shelving although I'm contemplating a reshuffle soon to coincide with rgb lighting strips:

Which Metroplex and Trypticon have you used there? Generations versions? What about Omega Supreme?

By the way, that looks freaking amazing!

    Thanks

I passed on Zeta Superion the first time around. Now it's back up for preorder. I want to own a Superion. Is this figure that good to get? Or should I wait to see what FansToys will release (which could be years from now).

That was the same boat I was in. There's nothing else as nice, MP scale accurate, and looks as good right now. FT is the next best thing... but who knows how long it will take them to release all 5 figures. I wish 3P companies would just wait and release an entire complete team set of combiners all at once... instead of 1 at a time piecemeal.

Overall Zeta Superion is decent. Just something small things they could've easily changed would have made it great.

Definitely worth it especially in combined mode. I love the individual alt modes but the individual bots are only okay. I imagine Fanstoys bots might be better. FT Combined mode who knows
