X-Men: Astonishing for all (also the best era for Marvel all around).

Magneto. I like the Marvel Now costume for him.

For Iron Man I like the Iron Secretary. For Thor Marvel Now.

I grew up in the 90s with the marvel animated TV universe (Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk), so my preferred costume choices for all Marvel characters will always be based on their animated TV universe appearance.

Local gamestop had an Xavier...so great. Only wish the telepathic effect could be used without cerebro too.

Just picked mine up from GameStop today, I can’t quit messing with the guy! Fantastic addition to my X-Men shelf. Agreed that it would have been cool to make the effect piece be used in that fashion.

Every character ever? Or just the X-Men? Please don't make me post about the Whizzer or Matter-eater Lad.

It isn’t for sale yet, but canofbeams.com will have an effect piece for sale soonish it seems. They showed one off on their FB page recently.

Any character. X-Men is usually the go-to because they are team focused and their outfits typically varied the most (I think).

Wait a second. Did Whizzer and Matter-Eater Lad actually have multiple costumes?! Sounds like they need ML figures, stat!

So what’s up with the Walgreens Thing exclusive? Did they just not ship many of these?

I still see the rest of the fantastic four team everytime I go into a Walgreens, but I’ve only seen Thing once.

It normally wouldn’t be a huge deal to me since I found a copy, but my copy has two of the right forearm, so the left arm doesn’t work tight. Am I just screwed on finding another?

Question: I got an original ML Black Cat from the Green Goblin wave. Is her hair supposed to be super stiff? I was expecting it to be more rubbery like the hair on recent MLs.

I hope there's no more surprises on Mutants this year.

Between ML, Star Wars, and Siege, SDCC July 1st looks to be T2 Judgement Day on my wallet with all these preorders. :p

It sure looks that way. Add to that people started to find Magik, the next exclusive, within the same month as Thing hit. He just didn't get a fair shake. Which is a shame considering the work Hasbro put into the fig, and that it's unanimously hailed as one of, if not the best ML of 2018.

Hopefully Hasbro and WGs give him another run. Or maybe WGs is sitting on a mountain of Things due to pushing out Magik too soon, and we'll suddenly see them stocking him again.

Yeah, I've only seen Thing twice locally, but I was able to find all the other members of the FF easily and still see Johnny and Sue regularly (Reed sat for awhile, but I don't see him as frequently anymore). What's funny is that Magik showed up here in large quantities before I ever saw Thing... I'm wonder if she wasn't pushed out too fast? Typically Walgreens exclusives from Hasbro have generally been easy for me to find, but Thing feels like he didn't get enough time to ship. Like he was only shipping for a small window or something.

I was starting to wonder if I got a KO, especially after reading about the differences from the original, but it was MISP and came with the BAF part, so if it is, it's a really impressive fake.

My take on the Thing situation is that it is such a good figure, everyone bought it up on sight.

I only cut the jacket. I don't get the need for the knees fix. I get full range out if mine. What am I missing with that part of the fix? Why did he do it?

Still have to cut the stars off the hand.

Some people had QC issues with their Ronin's knees.
