Got my Siege Wave 2 Micromasters from Hasbro Pulse today. Now both Soundwave and Prowl have minions!

 

I'm having a really hard time this year. Never have I been tempted by so many Optimus Primes. Can you tell me what you like more about this Prime than the other? I'm so conflicted, lol.

 

Purely personal preference, but I find the robot mode much more interesting. If what one wants is a really Sunbow Optimus, Siege will get that job done better, but I like how BB takes elements of that design and combines them with movie and IDW bits as well.

I also think the Transformation is more engaging and the alt mode is so much better it's almost comical. Siege's alt mode is like a 1984 Freightliner wearing a hat and going "THIS IS MY SPACE HAT, IT MAKES ME A SPACE TRUCK, HONEST." I'd like it better if it was a whole other design, either do the COE semi or don't. BB Optimus commits to it. It's also the first Optimus I can recall that does a semi where the rear half isn't clearly Optimus's legs hanging off the back of the cab.

That's very true, but personally, I see japan's Dekotora subculture... so, he goes from "I'm in disguise." to "DO NOT SUSPECT THAT I AM ALIVE, I AM MERELY A SIDESHOW ATTRACTION WITH MORE LIGHTS THAN A CASINO SO THAT NO HUMAN WOULD BELIEVE THAT I AM ACTUALLY ALIVE."

If I may make a suggestion for fun's sake, since that is a shot to look like they're on earth, it would be cool to see the scene lit with a singular light source to look like it's just lit by the sun.
Probably tough with smaller space to have omni looking lighting though.

Need a tf that transforms into an arcade machine.

 

If any of you hear movie music from these, I know I did it right.

As for the gold accents where the figure didn't have any, I added them with a metallic marker and wiped it off to get a "worn metal" look.
