Awesome! I sent an email to my retailer asking if I can get one.

 

I'm very impressed with Hasbro's Skyfire, but he's $80.00 and I've already bought this one and the replacement face is a few bucks if that. X2 waited too long, but there are collectors with the same mindset as me, so I have a feeling they won't be replacing this guy. Too much money invested in the character as it is.

I get why you want to buy official, though, I do. He looks great. (Aside from the battle paint. It's such garbage...)

 

Yeah my Sky Crusher isn't going anywhere. It's one of those figures I wish people could actually hold in their hands before making a decision on.

 

Got mine from Ben of Benscollectables. It didnt come with its box or instructions etc, just the figure, the head and the 2 guns.

No idea how I'd get the new head :S

 

Is their a replacement head to just get rid of the headmaster and helmet all together? I can live with the face but I hate how the gap from the face to the helmet looks.

Sure you can ignore that Siege Skyfire is now almost as tall as a combiner. But I don't want an 11" Skyfire, so Leader Class is where mine is staying.



Skycrusher's a great CHUG Skyfire and I'm glad X2Toys is following through with releasing the new sculpt.

 

...they should release a bunch of these little guys, all different colors, without back faceplates to swap out and upgrade the hasbro/takara titan masters...

 

This is the issue now for collectors with space for only one Jetfire in their CHUG collection. For now, each has their strengths and unique features.
I'm just glad I waited, and hopefully a reviewer will make a direct comparison between the two.

I contacted Toy Dojo but haven't heard back yet. I'm guessing X2 hasn't sent vendors any solicitations yet so the vendors probably have no idea yet.

 

Here's what the new head is supposed to look like according to X2Toys. They said it should be available in May, will be provided to retailers, who will provide to buyers.

Looks hella better. Not perfect but might be because helmet isn't too sexy. Lol

Good that they're providing the heads by themselves for those that bought the original release.

I'm sure my Godbomber will be happy to have his head back.

 

I dont think my ebay seller will ship it to me for free or even just for shipping. NO chance of me getting this probably
