I feel like I can almost tell from the mold that the new face will be worth the wait.

 

having to wait longer sucks, but like @Madgame says, a perfected product is better than a rushed one. Patience is a virtue, and when he arrives it will def of been worth the wait!

 

I dont like though how there not saying anything related to the delay or when there going to attempt to release it...  

 

What would you have them say? They told us things would be pushed back to rework the faces, then they said they had the new face moulds. Manufacturing takes a while and has a lot of moving parts that makes it difficult to dynamically update timetables.

Where they're at now will be somewhere around approving the manufacturing and painting of the updated faces, finalizing packaging (all parts assembled, packed in clear clamshells, packed in retail boxes, retail boxes packed in cases for shipping), and scheduling shipping to retailers. We'll likely get final product shots once it's on its way to retailers.

The masked face is killer! The unmasked face I'm sti unsure about. It looks pretty good but some of the details get lost without the proper paint apps.

I wanted to say he looked like he was frowning too much but Prime did have a very stoic expression through most of the show.

Overall they look a lot better. I'm still not sure if I'll invest in these models but I'm very glad this company is taking the time to rework pieces that aren't perfect and actually give customers a product they are happy with.

 

The unmasked face will look better with a bit of paint. It’s still leaps and bounds above the old Dr. Wu unmasked face. I would love more face expression options, but if no 3d printing artist steps up I am decent at sculpting and can probably do them by hand.

The masked face is exellent. Very cool that they reworked them, I don’t mind the extra wait as I have Siege and BW Megs to entertain me until he gets here.

These are definitely improvements over the prior versions. I think all that is missing to make them perfect is that his eyebrows should be taller. The sculpt has them a bit on the thin side, compared to their on-screen appearance.

Proper paint apps will really make the new heads shine:

Oooo, I LOVE the new head sculpt. Beautiful! I\'m glad they\'re still working on it. At one point I was just ok w/ the old sculpt, but after seeing the new one I am sooo glad they redid it!
