That is beautiful. I really hope they drop the ridiculous BAF idea. This thing deserves its own release and it’s own box covered in beautiful era-appropriate artwork.

 

From their Weibo post, someone asked if it would be sold as a separate figure. They said no, and even if it may be sold as a separate figure with color variation, it will only be sold to customers who bought the whole set.

My question is how they know if I bought the whole set, especially if I order online, maybe from various shops...

I really don’t get the part about making any possible redecos of Starscream exclusive to those who bought all the previous figures. No sense there at all.

That alt-mode does have me interested in Starscream, but I’m really not interested in buying the whole line just for that alt-mode. Especially if they keep climbing in price.

Those are early production samples sent to reviewers for early review. My understanding is that they didn't even come with package and instructions...

Wasn't this supposed to come out last month? What's the holdup? I'm going to assume its because Biplane Starscream isn't ready yet. Sigh, this build a figure bullshit is the one thing I'm not fond of. That being said, I intend to collect the whole line and then sell him and the two WWII bots (only doing one toy per character due to limited shelf space), so I suppose it's not a bad deal for me. I'll essentially get one of the figures I actually want for free, since I can sell Starscream for the same amount as the others.
