Mine wouldn't peg in at all around the shoulders to the hood... I probably came close to breaking it before I thought to scrape around the inside with a hobby knife, I think they didn't account for the layer of paint.

But yeah, he's really great. I thought I'd be bothered that his style of Porsche isn't G1, but now that he's in hand it doesn't bother me at all, it's a great alt mode.

Are they not doing the interchangeable hands like with tarn? Gotta say, that was a pleasant icing on the cake and really gave a lot of life to the figure, was hoping we’d see that in future figs.

Cygnus had interchangeable hands too. Perhaps they are only doing it for the mid-sized or larger ones.

I think the engineering plays the biggest part in whether or not there are interchangeable hands. Jazz was just a repaint of the Sideswipe mold, which had hinged hands that flipped out during transformation. Without redesigning that whole mold, interchangeable hands probably weren't practical. It looks like the Mirage mold has similar engineering with the hands and therefore won't have interchangeable hands either. On the other hand, the Wheeljack mold, which I would expect to be similar size as Mirage and Sideswipe molds, does seem to have engineering that allows for interchangeable hands.

I get where you're coming from, but it's actually an almost entirely different figure. It's the same basic scheme, but every single piece of the mold - save for one, the rear half of the waist - is retooled in some manner. Look really closely at their Jazz and SS next to each other and you'll see.

It's $30. That's not bad for 1) original design, 2) premium paint, 3) quality plastic, and 4) high part count/articulation in a legend scale.

They are a little steep for such small figures. But with price increases with official figures it isn't too different

FWIW Bridgewatcher has interchangeable hands too. He is pretty small.

Same case, Mirage doesn't have interchangeable hands but Wheeljack and Hound has.

I keep seeing Rush Beats on EBay from China sellers for about $28 shipped. Are these figures from China KOs?

Nope that is about the going rate from China. Seller netclow is legit and has pretty great prices for Iron Factory, I order from his (their?) store all the time.

I am not a fan of Netclow, but that aside I still adore my Rush Beats. He's got so much character in such a small figure

i think netclow had issues with a replacement bot or something of that nature. or he was a bit argumentative about it i think. so many stories it gets hard to keep track.

Had a real bad experience with him last year. It's posted a few pages back but your mileage may vary
