I hear that. I'll be 46 next month and have been binging the first couple of seasons this past week. It's the simple pleasures that make life enjoyable!

Okay I’m home a couple of hours and have been playing around with this guy (in beast mode) since opening and I just got to say I freaking love this thing, He’s a massive piece of art. I so wish I bought two copy’s so from now on I’m double dipping straight away, I haven’t transformed him yet because that beast mode is just beyond words so it’s a bit hard to bring myself to transform him but he also can’t stay in beast mode forever so...... decisions decisions. Now apologies but as I said it’s a shit load of pics :D

It's the same some as MP36.
MP4, MP10, Magnus and Star Saber all have bigger boxes.

I'm gonna lose it. First the crack, now tonight I put batteries in it and only the Eyes light up. What the hell. I put batteries in the T-Rex head as well and it flat out does nothing - no sounds whatsoever. Tried multiple sets of batteries too.

Got my Megs from Amazon Japan today and mines unfortunately also has a hairline crack in the crotch area. I'm gona transform it and see how long it survives. Worst case I send it back, but this is complete bs and has soured me on the mp line.

I've unfortunately gotten a broken crotch piece as well. The back area specifically with an exposed spring. I literally only transformed him once...

That doesn't look like it's actually cracked (yet), and is just the same molding lines because of the metallic swirl that everybody has, broken or not.

Mine looks exactly like that, but as I said earlier, I've put mine through its stresses, moving that leg around all over the place, and without trying to be too gentle about it, and there's no signs of stress or breakage.

With each additional post, I am becoming more convinced that this is a very real (and not uncommon) issue

Hey guys Long time lurker here.
Just wanted to chip in my 50 cents about the potiental issue with this figure.
I know its more than likely not common and not effecting all units but i`m going to share my experience.

I got mine today and transformed him once. So far i have experienced no breakage but out of curiosity i decided
to disassemble megatron and have a closer look at the part thats failing with some people.
     Heres what i discovered,
     1. The assembly screws were perhaps a little too tight on my copy.
     2. The Rachets do not appear to be luberated at all
     3. the Screw holding the Rachet gear in place were BRUTALLY tight.
     4. the pattern in the plastic is likely the result of ether incorrect temperature or uneven temperature durring the casting of the part. It could also be poor mixing, perhaps both.

I think what might be happening here is the Rachet is generating so much vibration that the imperfection lines are seperating, almost like an Earthquake. i think the part is shaking itself apart
when you see it fail.   I opted to apply Weight 80 silicon shockoil to the rachets and loosen the screw holding the gears in place alittle bit. I carefully worked the lubricant into the rackets until they moved more
smoothly and wiped off the excess.  NOTE: i also did this in the outward rachetes as i believe these two probably contribute to the vibration problem.  The Whole figure is now back togeather and
hasent failed yet. the legs are i believe, putting allot less stress on the part now but we will see how this goes.

I`ll report more after more time has passed and hes been transformed a few more times.

I must be lucky, haven't noticed any cracks or hairline fractures on mine and he's been transformed twice.
