Wonder if The TFP have KO yet ??

 

I assume this G1 Ultra Magnus is a KO (there are several other similar eBay listings):

Does anyone know what the differences between this version and the original G1 Ultra Magnus (or official reissues) are?

 

Also ask for return postagr if possible. sometimes they will ask you to send the item to a different address. I went through this with a chinese seller, and Ebay gave me a full refund,since the seller,wouldnt give me a return postage label to the US address he wanted me to send to.

 

No, it's not a knockoff. It was made by Hasbro for the Chinese market. It's a reissue of the 2000's reissue. There were several of these: God Ginrai, Rodimus Prime, Soundwave too off the top of my head.

Hello. Need help. How do you determine a KO for MP10 Takara Prime?

 

Official reissue with the short stacks.

Fyi, this had the blue mouth guard, red optics and diecast feet and rubber tires.

Another heads up, so KOs like Devastator lack some features /connectors that turn the vehicles into their combat mode. The G1 Constructicons had a Diaclone feature using the bits and pieces of their super warrior mode to be combat mode vehicles.

 

KOs of Universe/Henkei Seekers and Coneheads are giving me a real headache. These are the ideal deluxe class for me (seekers shouldn't by Voyagers IMHO) but finding legit ones is a real hassle.

 

About TR toyline,also deluxe figures suffered to have their KO or is still not confirmed?

Concerning Encore in Metroflex's case, there is none (Encore)as the Koers attempted to Ko the original. Aside from the chroming of the tires and the lack of the "molded" addition to Slammer's turret.

I don't recall any other "Encore KOed. Most are the G1 originals.

Btw, G1 Grimlock has an issue with the locking mechanism of his chest. The peg is too small to latch on to the indented part, and the head plastic isn't glossy at all.

G1 Wheeljack can easily be called out with the dull white plastic and the crappy wheel rivets.

G1 Headmasters have also been Koed. Iirc, there's Weirdwolf. This one is kind of hard to nail as the original one had a dull finish plastic like the KO

Sunstreaker too is a well made KO, very hard to tell the difference though the black plastics of his shoulder and black has a certain quality different from the original.

Insecticons too, the black plastic is duller than the original.

 

Just in case anyone was also reading these posts a bit older looking for info - ioffer.com apparently was smacked around quite a bit over KO Brand merchandise in the past 6 months. The site was down for months & when back, most listings for major branded items were gone. No Transformers listings anymore - one less KO marketplace...that is if you were lucky enough to be in that 10% that actually received their order vs. getting taken by a buyer that disappears after payment...

The KO's for ones you mentioned don't come in official packaging.

Several years back the ones that did get KO were oversized such as Powerglide (I have that one), as were the other legends scale CW bots from Mech Fans Toys.

Note that you can pick up the genuine hasbro ones around same price as the KO ones. I bought loads of official Gnaws on ebay on first release for AUD $10 each. At stores here they are AUD $20 each. Most of the mark downs are just old toys, not KO's.

Of the two ebay links you provided there are only official toys there, could not find any of the KO ones.

ALL of these are OS. And come in wacky packaging or more often loose.
Pretty much all been in youtube videos too.
I have the Powerglide as he scales better with Chug toys than the proper one.



MFT also did the Sharkticon KO 3 pack, in diff colors (closer to movie or takara colors) I have those ones too, but again come in a box, not the bubble like the official ones, and totally diff colors so easy to spot.





Later on another company did some ever bigger KO's of some of these KO's such as prime and pipes

MFT also did Blackjack and Nemesis Prime, I have those two as well as the proper ones, again OS and come loose or in wacky looking packaging.

AFter those ones they went on to KO stuff from 3P companies as you can see from the chart.
The Hasbro ones are at the top on the first line.
Some *other* companies made some dodgy dollar store type quality ones - the brittle plastic type in weird colors that you would never mistake for official anything so won't bother posting anything about them. You won't find them on ebay anyhow.

Sorry I just saw this, as I'm sure that deal is long done by now, but for future reference that is a legit Prime. I can tell that is a proper Ceji box from 1985. It shows 'Made in France' as Ceji was making them for Hasbro by '85. KO's (at least at one time) used a Ceji Prime for their initial model to work off of, but that looks safe to me.

 

I've seen 3 different G1 Mirage stamps on ebay, all claiming to be a G1 1984 version. Can anyone can help me out with what versions these are?

 

I just bought a g1 original devastator but I’m starting to think it was a KO. The coloration of the purple looks correct and Scrapper’s wheels seem to be straight (I learned that those are things to look for), but the instructions seem VERY sketchy. I’m hoping that someone could let me know if the whole set is a KO or if I just got a KO set of instructions with the real toy. Images are below for reference! Thanks to whoever can help!
