Yes, tfm spent some money on the packaging. Probably the best packaging in tf, very high quality. Tfc seacons also have nice packaging.

 

I would like to read more about the updates to the bots that come with the boxset.

Has anyone experiences with TransFormMission and providing spare/replacement parts?
My powertrain has a defect crotch piece / trailer hitch out of the box...

 

Not directly, my Carnage arrived without one of the rearwiew mirrors, Netclow (my seller) provided it for me and sent it with another order.

 

In the reviews I watched, the mechanism for the LED eyes is an on/off button. The button on my copy has to be held to stay on... Anyone else's like this?

 

What!!!

Nope, it's supposed to stay on when the button is pressed in... Hmmm hopefully the problem is mechanical related and has an easy fix.

 

And it will be one of the best looking Menasors even when the other G1 sets are finished as well!

 

Does anyone have some size comparison shots of TFM with Jin Bao OS devy or bruticus? I’m thinking about grabbing this guy and currently only have JB devastator. I picture Dev, Bruticus and Superion all a little bigger then Motormaster and Defensor, but not to tower over them.

Ugh that’s what I was afraid of. I like the perfect IDW look of him and also really like how the individual bots scale with MP figures though.

 

Keep these guys with your other voyager/IDW stuff. Everyone scales correctly except for Motormaster. The combiner itself also scales to voyager sizes.

You’ll have a much better time not trying to shoehorn him with MPs/MP sized bots. Mine look great with their other voyager brethren <3

 

Legit Gravity Builder scales with it. The Daban KOs will run you about $150 in the end if you choose that option.

 

I keep mine with my MP collection... not perfect... but it can work. PT alone in bot mode is the same height as Prime MP-10... so you can always display them in bot mode for a better scale... if you are particular.

 

I’m not super particular. I also think Devastator should be bigger as he’s 6 construction vehicles where as Menasor is a truck and 4 cars.

From what I see bot and alt mode these guys are spot on MP scale. I’m thinking with the leg extensions mentioned earlier he might be an inch shorter then JB Gravity Builder combined mode.

My dilemma started because I recently bought the Yes Model Protectobots minus hotspot for a really good price. I already have JB Gravity Builder and was planning on getting JB Warbotron.

I’m kind of thinking I could keep Defensor and Menasor together then put Devastator someplace else.

 

Gonna be selling my complete Menasor. Comes complete. Any interested parties PM me.

 

I like variation in size in my combiners, them all being 1 size doesn't make sense to me.
