Anyone with good eyes can tell you it's a non realistic truck. However it looks waaaaay cooler than the boring UT version, however that's more for the design of the actual rig itself.

 

I find his robot mode perfect, but his truck however looks like crap. If i get him he will be in robot mode 90% of the time so it's not that big of a deal. Challengers truck mode is perfect, but i find his robot mode lacking compared to this guy.

His truck makes me wonder how their Shatter and Dropkicks vehicle modes will end up... I love their car and bot modes so i hope they will ditch the triple changer idea to maintain accuracy.

Does anyone know if Wei Jiangs Hound will scale well with this guy? I'm considering getting that it but if it's too short for Knight Orion i'll just have to wait for another Hound.

Oh damn.
It would seem i remembered wrong. I knew that the pinstriping was a bit too much but i remembered that being the only problem with it. Guess i was wrong.

 

Yeah definitely not perfect but its FAR better than TWs offering, The wheels..the cab..ect. like there is just so much there that is wrong and i can only imagine how bad it would look next to other figures in vehicle modes with it being so squat..

I kind of wish toyworld would have just done a TLK bumblebee figure or something instead or some other figure

 

To me it looks very nice, better than Toyworld's. Now, If we are talking about the robot mode, TW's version is a bit better overall.

I’m not disagreeing with u but that’s actually not the truck used in the movies but a fan made replica. U can tell by the side view mirrors and a few other things missing

 

I just wanted to get one thats really close but from the same angle as challenger.

Honestly think the lack of pinstriping looks better on Orion than it would otherwise

 

I mean the issue with that is..if your looking for a badass bot mode you might as well get a model kit for that.. or a statue, Those are more accurate and detailed all together. Like as an overall package there is a lot to be desired.

Like its inndirect competition with a Good figure, if i got this guy id probably transform him once for fun (hell maybe it looks better in person..) then back to robot and leave him. But after that you got to think, 130+(idk how $$ he is tbh) for just a bot with proportion issues ect. Is that worth it to yo

 

I like to transform my figures, not just keep them on a shelf. Because of that, I hate model kits of tf's as they are meant to just stand there. Being able to transform it into both modes (whether one of those modes is compromised or not) is a must for me.

 

Understandable, like i mean one mode always has to suffer for another, i just feel like the alt mode really got the short end of the stick like more so than other figures tend to,

But i kind of get it, its TWs first movie transformer and they will probably improve overtime with the others

 

I'm not saying i think it looks bad, just that i remembered it being more accurate. I do hate the pinstriping on it though. I'd say that TWs robot mode is more than just a bit better.

 

Hey everyone, I haven't been on this board in a while, and I'm sorry if this was previously addressed here already, but is there any actual info on Prime's eyes lighting up??

 

Nothing has been said about it, and given the interchangeable faces, I'm assuming that it was just a photoshop.

 

I'm hoping that it does have it though. I like the how small and electric blue the lights look in the pic, vs how big and light blue Challengers eyes are.

 

Man I really hope there's a work around for that gaping cut in the middle of his face...
