You know, if it can't transform, I would've really liked if it could still armor up from naked Optimus to Super Mode (and not just lose the shoulder pads and wear a different head).

I know it'll be able to armor up with Ultra Magnus but it's not quite the same, you know?

 

I try not to buy MPs of anything other than really "core" G1 characters, which (to me) is a completely arbitrary distinction that helps me talk myself out of doing things like spending a ton of money on MP-scale Brainmasters or something.

If someone announced MP-scaled Car Brothers and/or Fire Convoy to go with them, not a force in the universe will stop me from pre-ordering them.

And these 2 can combine into a bigger robot, that's kind of cool.
I wish it doesn't like the MT Skyfire, after combine, half of skyfire's body is on the ground, no use.

 

I can't wait for these guys to make something that appeals to me. This looks fantastic.

 

Well...on one hand, Magnus himself looks a little less like God Magnus and a little more like Godbomber but I assume that's intentional so it's pretty cool. On the other hand, it means we get the Super God Sword so that rules!

 

I’m really liking the looks of this, but I want to see a price tag before I commit to anything.

 

Despite the name given, I didn't recognize God Magnus right away, lol. My first impression was Omega Prime...Victory Leo...God Ginrai/Bomber especially with all those exaggerated prominent wing and shoulder cannon. Maybe the large size looks good on Omega Prime, but on UM, it needs to be smaller. It would be nice if the wing could be folded back in half and the shoulder cannon tip can slide down into its barrel in half. Yup, does fit with Flame toy aesthetic. Other than the nitpicky, God Magnus looks great. Can't wait to pick him up.

 

It kind of looks like the Magnus won't be suffering from the MT LT Dan syndrome. Looks like Magnus is a core bot armored up as well.

I was on the fence with this, but with the Magnus lineart reveal, I am in as long as the price isn't at Flame Toys territory.
Give this to me at the $100-150 range with good QC and paint, and I am all in with Banana Force. I'll even break my rule of buying non-transforming TF's.

 

I see they listed UM at 277mm /10.9 inch. If that 277mm is up to the head, he'll be some few hairs taller than 2000/RID God Magnus. That's going to scale nicely with his old self. Can't wait to see in colors.

 

If these are really 270 and 277mm from head to toe then I really think they'll break $200+, especially with the metal frame and whatnot. Metal Build Gundams are easily $200+ at just 177-203mm.

If they do start getting into Flame Toys territory I hope they're PERFECT. Pictures so far seem good. Really wondering how the combined mode will look like; especially if it uses all of UM or just leaves him with stubby limbs like Buster Stealthwing/Skywing.

 

Fair assumption. Also, anyone who is trying to do high action transformers figures better be aiming high and hitting a lot of goals. That’s the only way to survive.

Oh so it is combining? Crazy. I wonder what that will involve. I thought it was just gonna be armour pieces that attached and resembled god magnus.
