I’d love battle damaged versions of all the characters but that’s the main reason I was hopin for KOs to be made- just so I can wreck them and not feel bad due to the cost.

 

Granted, I haven't read all 80billion comments over the last 408 pages but I have read a lot and I haven't seen a single drop of "internet hysteria". Just people with issues honestly stating their experiences among what seems to be a majority of very happy customers.

Mine came in with a smashed box with the bottom seal broken, warped panels that would not go together, and a few stress marked tabs right out of the box. After carefully transforming it to bot then back to beast mode a tab broke off on mine.
Having owned hundreds of transformers since the 80s including most of the MPs and even some 3rd party figures known to be fragile that I didn't break, I can say I'm far from inexperienced or rough when handling my figures.
I'm hoping at least 90% of the problems I had were due to a bad copy that was messed up before it got to me, but I think some of those tabs should have been thicker/stronger among other things that could have been made a bit better.
I sure won't deny even my defective one looked awesome though despite its flaws.

A replacement for the turd I got should be here tomorrow and I am hoping to have the great experience other have had with it.

 

No issues with his waist or panels here, but is anyone else concerned with his shoulders? I just removed his kibble for the first time and the main piece attached to his bicep makes me nervous when you pull his arm out to the side.

Hey is there any fix for the loose silver shoulder piece thingies next to his head? Not sure if that’s a design feature or if mine is defective or something ...

sorry to disappoint, but i still haven’t places the order yet. although i did spend a couple hours last night watching all the reviews for primal, cheetor, and dinobot and even pulled them up on aj (i still have the tabs open). what i actually remembered for not biting on all of them when they’re announced was due to the robot kibble in their alt modes. the reason why it was easier for me to pull the trigger on megs is that he barely has any robot kibble.

so... still sleeping on it, but i do admit that this beast wars megs looks REALLY good on my shelf and that alone makes me want to get the others just to accompany him, almost like his accessories lmao. so that speaks for how much i like him.

 

I wonder why they didn't include ratchet in the waist swivel like MP Primal?

 

If jazz and this Megatron are any indication he should be quite* modular

I've been avoiding this thread for a little while because of some of the negativity that kind of soured my excitement over this release. After spending a couple of days away from here and simply playing around with my copy, I honestly feel like this has become one of my favorite official MP's in my collection. I'm not sure what number he'd rank in, but he's definitely up there. He's in the realm of MP-10, 17, 18, 20, 36, 38, and 39 for sure to name a few. The only real issue I have with him so far is a minor one. I feel that the panels and tabs that form his T-Rx body/back are on the thin side, and need to be handled with care. Otherwise, he's pretty fantastic. I like BW Dinobot, but I find myself enjoying this one a lot more. Transformation is similar to the original in many ways, and I like that. Takara wasn't trying to be super-fancy with the transformation process like they were with Dinobot and MP-36. MP-43 took the original and simply made it better in every way. And it worked perfectly. Easily one of the best and most satisfying purchases I've made this year. Even if you are NOT a Beast Wars fan, this is a fantastic transforming collector's piece.

I got up this morning to see he is out for delivery...awesome right!?....Well no because its out for delivery in London...and I moved from London over 6 months ago...I've had two deliveries from AE since I moved and all have come here to Brighton...the London address isn't even listed as a delivery address on AE...AE f**ked up!

I'm disappointed and livid.

I’ve had Megatron out for a couple of days now, and he’s currently in alt mode. My wife’s reaction: “he’s terrifying”.

My almost three-year-old son’s reaction: “ohhhh big dino! Wow!”. Proceeds to open Megatron’s mouth, sticks his fingers in Megatron’s mouth to feel the teeth, starts hugging the whole figure, kisses the figure...
I’m so glad he loves Transformers (he’s a big fan of Unite Warriors Devastator as well)!

 

That is awful! Is your former address still accessible? Any plan of action you can take?

 

Really digging Megatron! Possibly my favorite BW MP thus far (Maybe a tie with Primal). Looks fantastic on dinobots stand. He's a big boy!
