I'm late to the party on this fella so I just wanted to pop in and ask ; is there any options for a gap filler for the combined mode sword ?

Also while I think of it what model cars is the various bit supposed to be ? Other than Dragstrip who seems to still be the same as the 1980's.
I just wondered what was what.

Also just a general question what other IDWish looking Combiners would be logical for them to do next *under whatever brand* ?
Surely there must be some Aerialbots on the cards ? I'm not up on what combiners have featured in the comics though.

This set does seem to go quite nicely with some of the existing Protectobot offering though so perhaps that is less immediately crucial to do.

 

Does anyone have it appear like the site this links to is enormously zoomed in while setting wise it is not? Also, I do not see a scroll bar while viewing that site.

Dragstrip is a modern take on the Tyrrell P34.
Motormaster is pretty close to the 80's original.

TransformMission, Generation Toy, and Warbotron are all related.

They have TFM Menasor, GT Devastator, GT Defensor (in process), WB Bruticus, and WB Computron.

The two Warbotron combiners are dated compared to the newer ones.

I guess Superion or Predaking would probably be a good next combiner for them.
I remember them both featuring in IDW before.

OK Thanks. I kinda forgot they were in the middle of doing a Defensor (Since I already have the TFC one and 4/5ths of the Maketoys and the Yes Model ones - I tend to forget to look, as I tend to prioritise Bruticus and Devastator toys) I have 4/6ths of the GT Devastator - that was the one that taught me buying them as a set is a better idea as being left part done on combiners is pretty annoying.
I have Warbotron Bruticus (and his overscale KO) and his Machine Boy Repaint - and plans to get the new gray one too.

I missed out on the cheap Warbotron Computron and it has been irking me. I do like the chunky look of that one - though I can see why somethin like a Yes Model upscale of the Make Toys one would make a lot of sense on that one.

I'll sound like a broken record, but after looking at X-Transbots' Motormaster, it really helps me appreciate how awesome TFM's Motormaster is

 

What price in USD is it showing for your pre-order? I can't seem to get the conversion.

 

This set is under rated. The packaging is on of the best for any transformer product. I have the set in vehicle mode and will probably keep the set this way, as combined mode is to small for today's Zeta dominate standards. But I can eventually stand him next to Ordin and Prianacon. Buy this set of you are able to, worth every cent.

 

Sure, but they don't have a way to toggle between desktop/mobile view. And they don't allow copy-n-paste on mobile site.

Sorry... *leans in to hear better*... did you say "improved" version? What's to improve... except maybe the final gestalt and its tendency to lean forward? Is that what you mean?

It's for locking the forearm to the elbow. The standard connection will unlock the forearm when you rotate it...
