So anyone knows why it's taken them so bloody long to get out Ricochet but that select G2 Megatron was out for release almost the same day he was announced?

 

I hope TFSource get Stepper soon because I can’t ship Big Convoy and Big Powered until he is in stock.

 

I'm thinking Megs had probably been in production longer as was meant as the big kick off to the line and Pulse. They were probably just sitting on them.

 

But then why were Ricochet and Swoop announced first?

 

No clue. Maybe to build interest in the sub-line, guage demand, they're idiots? Damned if I know.

 

Were they announced first? I know it was leaks how we found out about them and all 3 leaks happened pretty close (though megatron was the 3rd)

 

The existence of Ricochet and Red Swoop was first discovered via early store links in early November.

The two were officially revealed by Hasbro at the end of November.

Megatron was rumored for a while, then a store listing was discovered in mid-February.

He was officially revealed later that same day at Toy Fair and instantly went live at Hasbro Pulse to generate a buzz for the relaunched site.

I know I already had the two of them pre-ordered before even hearing the rumor of G2 Megatron.

Can I have my G2 Sideswipe now?

 

Can someone that already has red swoop swap the limbs with blue swoop's? I need to see how the lighter grey wings look with the darker limbs, simulating the chrome wings like the g1 toy. Cause right now im cancelling my pre order lol

 

If you Pre-ordered from the Early midtown Comics listing's then yes other wise The Combat Megatron Rumor came out 2 days Before Red Swoop And Ricochet were Officially revealed and put up for pre-order every where else.

Part-swapped last week. I managed to swap the wings as well.

 

Oh man I hope I luck out and get a Stepper with a face..

 

The paint is definitely a bit thick, and shiny. It's not as bad in hand . But the head being molded in black definitely isn't ideal. It does haphazardly cause the visor to be outlined on the bottom in black as the gold(ish) paint was to thick to get into that crack so that's a plus. Here's a better shot. (All the imperfections in the paint job aren't noticeable normally, the pic makes it look terrible but you can't see it with normal sight)

 

*Ricochet's head is molded in black, but painted white*
*Jazz's head is molded in white but painted black*
……this hurts my head....

 

You'd think they could have added the hood and windshield to that sprue as well, but no.....cast them in clear plastic.
