Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. A teeny baby G2 Megatron? Or likely a Longarm Prime, if someone gets the stuff up on Shapeways and I can find a decent grappling hook.

Guess I'm the only one who will be getting this for Brawn.

People are too caught up in accuracy that they fail to see the cool unique interpretation of a G1 character..... In general that is not just Brawn here

Hmm. Kind of a dick move to sell these as a pair.. forcing the Brawn version on people.

I'd love the Guzzle, but they've managed to turn a sure sell into a hard pass.

Maybe I'll snag a set when they're in a 75% off Black Friday sale some day.

Yeah, I was honestly in it for Brawn between the two. I have no personal connection to Guzzle, and I'd like a nice updated Brawn.

Regardless, I'm still pretty "meh" on the mold in general. If they were separate and the price was right, I'd probably pick up Brawn. But as-is, I can't justify paying $120 for two figures sharing a mold I'm not too keen on.

I guess if anyone was planning on getting this set and offloading Brawn, I may be interested. No promises, though.

120 is too much. It should be closer to 95 to 100 for both

If that were the case why even list them together in the first place? tfcon was last month. Very odd. I guess it could be a wave1/wave2 situation then.

If there was ever a time for a convention organizer to capitalize on a custom class, it's now.
They'd recoup 20% of the cost of the Brawn just by selling all the extra Guzzles for 20% more by themselves lol

As much as I may want a Guzzle to complete my Wreckers shelf, the Conversion Rate for Australia is pretty unfavourable, and I don't need a figure like Brawn adding to the expense. Maybe if it was a different character I'd be in, but not at $150 AUD.

You and me both. Any reference to TFA is a reference that i will pay for. If this was a Guzzle/Omega spreem/Auto trooper
Pack i would have preordered it for 160 easily.

Think I'll get this just for the bot. Alt mode looks like ass, srsly.

    Guzzle’s alt-mode is just fine.

There is nothing really “bad” about it. It’s not amazing, and it’s not incredibly “awesome,” but it’s fine - and it’s extremely accurate.

Most of the GeeWunners go apeshit when a certain element isn’t right on their figures. Take a whole minute to understand we feel the same about the IDW/MTMTE-verse.

Most of us appreciate you GeeWunner’s buying the IDW stuff. Whether you realize it or not (I’m sure you do though!), you help us get even more products. But the complaining about certain things without knowing the source material or bothering to google for 20 seconds first, is a little tiresome.

This Brawn though deserves all the complaints it’s getting however. Not only is it sinfully ugly - it’s not accurate to anything, anywhere.

I want a good classics style Brawn to replace my old ROTF Brawn, but not sure how I feel about this one. Guzzle is a keeper though especially with ripped in half action.

I hate geewun and have no geewun style toys in my collection. Nor do I read idw, but most of my stuff is idw inspired. I collect purely based on my subjective view of whether something looks cool or not, I couldn't care less about whether a design is faithful to anything.

That said, the alt modes on these guys look pretty horrible. It literally looks like they're down on all fours with threads attached at the end of their limbs.

Huh. I was never really hyped about this new design for Guzzle, even if it is more accurate to the comic.

But releasing it as a 2 pack with a remold that has no comic counterpart? Who would ever think that makes sense? (Wait a minute... where have we seen that before?)

Still, joking aside, MakeToys did the same thing with Swerve and Gears. But then, I actually liked the Swerve design.

This went from a hesitant maybe to a hard pass with the release of pre-orders. MMC is really struggling to get my attention these days. I don't think I've bought any of their products since Calidus, and they don't have a single thing in the pipeline (that we are aware of, anyway) that interests me outside of the DJD.

I mean, its a nice Brawn. Its just a Brawn I'm willing to throw down over $100 for when I picked up my last, suitable Brawn for a tenth of the price

    We all have our opinions.

I however personally like how varied the alt modes are in IDW/MTMTE/etc.

Not everyone has to be a jet. Or a tank. Or a truck. Or a car. Or a jet. Or a tank. Or a truck. Or a ....

I think you get the point :3
