Or “Put it on my tab”
To which the Maximals respond “Which one?!”

It’s quite fun imagining the Maximals at a bar actually- Optimus would obviously be old friends with the owner so he’d be sat on a stool at the bar with a pint for a friendly chat, Cheetor would be ‘chasing tail’ as it were and trying out endless terrible chat-up lines and drinking way too much vodka n red bull, Rattrap would be swindling chumps over by the pool table with a scotch and Rhinox would have to step in and save the little fella when his antagonising has brought about repercussions, Dinobot would snatch a whole bottle of rum and skulk off to a dark corner to ponder his fate where he can do soliloquies in peace all night- Tigatron would join him briefly in an attempt to calm his restless spark but he spots Airazor over by the jukebox giving him the eye- they play some Snow Patrol, The Eagles and When Two Become One by the Spice Girls (because of foreshadowing.) Silverbolt would get utterly wasted after two drinks and start spouting poetic declarations of love for a certain dark poison of his heart to all- and Depth Charge only makes it as far as the front door because he thought the doorman was looking at him funny so put the guy’s head through a window and got arrested.

Though it didn’t happen to me , I gotta admit , It kinda makes me turn my head at how AJ just randomly cancels people’s orders. That’s not how you conduct good business. They clearly underestimated this guys popularity. I can’t blame anyone for being pissed at them . And yeah , they pull this shit with MP-44 , there going to loose me as a customer period. I love there prices , but loyalty is also hard to find .

Alright, day 2 with Megatron. My first transformation yesterday was a (mostly) blind one, avoiding instructions and videos. I made exceptions at two points, right at the beginning to make sure I was untabbing correctly, and in the middle to make sure I was moving the waist correctly in the spot every talks about being very difficult.
With my second transformation, it's all about mastering it. So I read through the instructions and watched a couple videos. There were only a few things I missed. I basically got the backpack right, which I was a bit surprised about, I figured it would have had a slightly better way to arrange it, but from the front it still looks super clean. From the back it's a bit silly, but nothing too offensive. I missed pushing the shoulders back and locking the beast leg cover thing behind his robot leg. It's on a spring, but if you push it in it clicks into place. Aside from that, I basically had everything right.
I also took the time to install the batteries, and I took off all the panels and stuff to see "naked" megatron. Tried out the toothbrush, etc.

So my day 2 impressions are as follows:

    Yesssssss.
The colouring on him is so nice, he really does pop. He just looks so fantastic and poses so nice and expressively. I'm really getting a good feel for the transformation and it's pretty painless. The waist was significantly less stiff the second time, and for the most part everything just falls into place. He stands mostly fine, though I do have a little fear of him tipping forward. I tried some dynamic poses, and he's a little forward heavy and while his feet are pretty good and keeping balance, when I do the "push" test, he tends to tip forward into a fall. So when I display him, I'm either going to need to use the stand (of which I don't have a spare, thanks Takara), or I'm going to use less dynamic poses in order to ensure he can stand comfortably without any risk of tipping. Though I do gotta say, I'm happy he's front heavy and not back heavy, because I trust his front side far more than him falling onto his backpack.

I haven’t transformed him yet (and probably won’t be able to for a day or two) but I pulled him out of the box and my god, his dinosaur mode is magnificent. Very possibly my favorite alt mode of all time. Can wait to be able to spend some time with it. And Cheetor arrived too, so all in all a good day.

Well, that's the thing, popularity or stock seems to have had nothing to do with it. My guess is it had something to do with a particular distribution center. And to be fair, they did send out the warning emails that there might be some challenges/delays.

Also, this is highly unusual for them, not only with the sudden cancelations, but also in the poor way it was handled.

However, seeing as we seem to be getting our Megatrons at our preorder prices, and with the immense excellent service I've continually received from AJ in the past, this one instance isn't going to sour me on them, or cause them to lose my trust. Despite how frustrated I am in this one situation.

So obviously there is way less traction in Cheetor's thread right now, but I could really use some advise here. This is my second cheetor because my first one had really stiff arm panels, and it resulted in it breaking. Well, now I have a cheetor with arm panels that are much less stiff, which I'm thrilled about, but it's come at the cost of literally every other joint being stiff. Shoulders, legs (beast and robot), tail gun, literally everything. Basically every joint is stiff. All my other BW Masterpieces have basically been perfect, but I guess I'm just cheetor cursed.
Any advise on how I can loosen up his joints so I don't break him? I really don't want to have to leave him untransformable, transformation is such an important part of having these figures. I can't just not do it. But it's like, every single one of them.

Nah, I feel like the Maximals are easily overpowered still at this point.

I love this idea. I can just picture that as a dream sequence in an episode of Beast Wars. :)

I'd imagine just slow and steady repeated movement would loosen it up. Just like how a joint naturally loosens up on any figure. Unless it's of course a pin or riveted area that you could use a soldering iron to loosen up the surrounding plastic to get some movement quicker.

I'd just grab at a very secure part, and use slow and firm pressure to create some movement; then do it over and over and over to create the loosening effect. Repeat as necessary.

There are a few tough pinned joints as well. I don't have a soldering iron though.

Personally, I use 80 weight shock oil https://www.amazon.com/Team-Associated-Weight-Silicone-2-Ounce/dp/B0006N6S6G/

One tiny drop of that in the joint, start moving it around, and problem usually solved.
