Maketoys Utopia. A beautiful figure...while it's expensive, I don't regret buying it one bit.

Fansproject Defender. I admired all of the earlier releases from afar but I didn’t get sucked in until full figures started coming out.

Was Defender the first full figure or did Battle Rollar come a little before?

Well it was KFC Simba and man that is the best money I've ever spent. I'm not much of a 3rd party transformers buyer but that figure and my Kingzilla by same company was so worth the money. I do like to watch reviews of 3rd party figures but can't afford them since their mostly out of my price range.

MMC’s Knight Morpher Commander was my first, it seems to have beaten Fansproject Defender by a couple of weeks.

I recently picked up a loose, complete Fansproject Positum (the con exclusive Aligaticon/Optimus repaint of their Skullcruncher) for $40 at a local show. The price was just low enough for me to grab it for the novelty. It actually makes sense as a headmaster, since Prime's head was severed and kept elsewhere, while his other parts were made into an alligator in the cartoon.

I don't think it's going to make me into a 3rd party regular, but I am having fun with it and it has some nice transformation tricks. The plastic reminds me of some of the hard, sharp plastic used on certain cheap KOs and KO-like transforming robots, but without the feeling of brittle fragility that usually accompanies it--it's actually really solid with good, solid joints. It's a combination I'm not used to haha.

At this time, I think this will be my only 3rd party figure, unless I come across a similar, lower priced novelty that strikes my fancy in person.

Knight Morpher commander, got it a couple years ago, but it certainly isn't my favourite 3P figure

Love 'em, but I haven't gotten around to order Jazz and Mirage yet. Too much Endgame stuff coming up...
