It's still a masterpiece for it's time. Despite the sequels; I (as a 12 year fan) still love 07 for what it was and even Travis Knight is willing to acknowledge it.

So why is there a purple Jet on the box that matches Blitzwing/Ramjet?

I would pay extra for it to not come with the free digital copy of TF:2007

If they want to do a retailer exclusive that actually gives something people don't already have they should put out the 3D version. Still a waiting audience out there for that. Regardless of what one thinks of the movie, I can't imagine there are many out there for whom a digital copy of TF1 will generate much hype at this point in time.

This was probably planned well before Hasbro officially threw the prequel connection under the bus.

Perhaps a jab at the studio for changing the character design after toys were in the works.

    F***.
It's shit like this that worries me--that these dumb idiots can't let the Bayverse die.
And now that fat f*** Bonaventura is saying things like he still wants a sequel to Last Knight????
    NO. F***ING NO.

Bumblebee deserves to be a clear cut reboot like every other reboot franchise.
You didn't see them giving you a free copy of Batman & Robin with your purchase of Batman Begins??

Paramount needs to grow some balls, and flush the turds out of their company.

I hope they keep the original series going. I'm wondering if they'll start retconning it to line up with the Bumblebee movie...

So anybody pick this up for the offer? I was going to try for it since apparently my digital copy of TF is not on UV or Vudu so figured it would be nice to get a free copy.

My receipt doesn't say anything on it with a code or anything. Also it came with a free small comic which wasn't advertised.

To be honest, Bumblebee is the first one i genuinely loved. I kinda like 07 and Age of Extintion (to a lesser degree), but the both are mearly ok. DotM was meh, RotF was bad, and TLK was god awful. This renewed my interest in them doing live action films. I went in with lowered expectations. But as soon as i saw the scene on Cybertron my jaw dropped. THIS was what i always wanted. I instantly knew every major bot. Action was great. Even when it got to Earth i had fun. This needs to be seperate. Make a sequel set in the 90s. Keep it all before the original series or just make it so they never happened.

I can't figure out how to get the free copy either. On the walmart website when you look up the film I found this info:
    IMG_8086.jpg IMG_8085.jpg
But I don't know where the promo code is?
The link takes you to a page to input the code.

Hmm, great. Wonder if their system was not ready for this. Looks like I'll be contacting Walmart to figure this out.

Have you opened it yet? Usually the code is printed on a card packed inside.

There is no card inside with a special code. I think honestly it is the same vanilla copy that is shipped everywhere. The sticker on the front said to check your receipt (in fine print) which there is nothing on there as well.

Ahh - yeah I would call them. Expect Level 10 frustration.

Edit: it does say “One code will be issued per online order” - maybe the offer is only for online purchases of the set.

Yep, I always expect frustration when having to call customer services. It isn't the person on the other side's fault, but their company.

I'm hoping that it isn't the case that only online orders get the code, but honestly it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
