It has been announced officially, but I'll keep it a spoiler since it is particularly juicy. Spoiler It's just been confirmed that Cetrion is Shinnok's sister, and both of them are Kronika's children. Life, Death, and Time.
Her ladder ending mention she's capable of coming back. Plus the story mode of this game is about going back in time.
Don't worry Switch, Mileena's guaranteed. Unlockable, DLC, she's gonna be in one way or another. She's like the most popular female character in the series, they ain't gonna skip her.
Ed Boon Reassures Fans Mortal Kombat 11 Will Run At 60fps On Nintendo Switch "During a Rapid Fire interview with Game Informer, Boon reassured fans the game would run at 60fps on the hybrid device and certainly wouldn't be 30fps or contain blurry backgrounds. He reinforces this by saying the Nintendo version is "looking great" and says it's Mortal Kombat 11 through and through." 166 Rapid-Fire Questions With Mortal Kombat 11's Ed Boon
Say goodbye to Goro, Kintaro and the other majestic four-armed guys. (Potentially) I like how his fatality is him collecting everything and picking out the treasure and throwing away the guts.
Technically he has six arms. Two of them are little and hold onto his backpack. Baby arms Goooood, I need bug lady back in my life. So, here's a few interesting notes I've picked up; -Skarlet's origin seems to have been retconned. Rather than a direct creation of Shao Kahn, she's described as a starving wretch who was adopted by the Emperor and remade via blood magic into a deadly but perpetually thirsty blood-mage. Her notion of undying loyalty to him remains intact. -Erron Black is now said to have left Texas to join the Black Dragon and later ditched them for Outworld's more exotic opportunities, despite prior material implying he was around for a lot longer and was introduced to Outworld by Shang Tsung. -Geras is said to be locked at a fixed point in time, hence why he cannot die. More so, he grows more resilient against whatever killed him previously, meaning trying to get rid him the same way twice ain't such a good idea. -Kotal Kahn's absence from prior MK games is said to be due to Shao Kahn locking him up, paranoid that this mighty Osh-Tekk general might try and usurp him. -The Kollector is of a new species now as the Naknada. This race makes a point of defining themselves by their professions, not names (they would love Monster Hunter). He collects taxes and tributes for Shao Kahn, both to slake his greed and out of loyalty to the Emperor. When Shao Kahn fell, he lived well off of the stolen riches, but now Kotal's regime calls for his execution due to his extortion of the populace. And his tax evasion. -Cetrion, as aforementioned, commands Life in opposition to her brother's mastery of Death. She has a deep love for life, hence why she leaves the Heavens to deal with this temporal Armageddon nonsense herself, even if she must defy her mother. Given she's a full-on Elder God who walks among us without renouncing her status or being cast out, she's easily the most powerful playable character thus far, bending life itself to her will and incapable of being killed. Literally every fight you'll have with her is just Cetrion entertaining your shenanigans
Just a theory, but I'm led to believe Kollector's design is a means for the dev team to build experience in creating more fluid combos with a multi-arm character. IMO (aside from grabs, X-Rays, and fatalities) I never felt like I'm playing a fighter who fights with multiple arms with the Shokans. Hopefully, in MK12 we'll get a Goro or a Sheeva and perhaps we'll have some interesting features with their multiple arms; base on the data the dev teams gathered from Kollector. Or based on the position of Kollector's arms, the dev can learn to create some crazy combos with a character with wings like Nitara or Onaga.
If they needed to learn how to give Onaga cool combos then they wouldn't need Kollector to do that when Gargos from Killer Instinct is an easy source of inspiration.
