Cannot wait to buy this.  He is already looking way better with the toyhax upgrade.  I am really glad I used the matrix stickers instead of the human drivers as you have choices.

I loved Siege Prime off the bat. Scales perfectly in a chug collection (for me). Looks G1-y, but updated. He was just missing a few things. Toyhax labels helped with a lot of that. He went from looking good, to looking amazing. Even replacing MP-10v in my collection.

What he\'s still missing at this point is a Matrix, and trailer. This might do it for the Matrix. It depends on the cost, and paint aps. Im not going to keep the LED on 24/7, and the plain grey plastic doesn\'t look great. Even if the molding is good, it still looks bland without being lit up. It fills the cavity, and stores well though. So I guess it\'s price dependent.

Now these are available on Ebay as well for cheaper than Showzstore.

Ebay Link for johosontony - $16.00 each + free shipping (Just bought 2 from this seller as I have bought from them before with no issues. Price went down to $15.20 each since I bought 2 or more. 1 for me and 1 for my coworker who also owns Siege Optimus)

Ebay Link for cbyg3016- $16.00 each + free shipping

When you get it, can you provide some feedback on how easy it is to remove from the cab during transformation? I'm very concerned that it'll be a hassle to shift between, which is one of the major reasons I'm holding back on ordering it already. Please and thank you.

I preordered from the store link for a little more. I did not want to go chinese ebay sellers. I have had some bad experiences with upgrade kit knock offs. I will update when I get it.

I received my two copies of this yesterday from Ebay. Here is a short review with photos. Its easy to use as its just a matter of placing in the empty spot in robot mode. It even has little tabs that allow the piece the head is on to go into to make the connection secure. The light is pretty bright for being as small as it is. The paint job on this block of plastic is actually pretty nice. A slight metallic red along with the metallic silver for the matrix portion. To remove it's just a matter of untabbing the spot from the piece the head is on and it comes right out. Storage in alt mode however is just an after thought from the photos on the first page. As you can see from the photos it fits when you don't have the top of the leg flaps correctly transformed. It just sits in there loosely. Not a secure connection in truck mode. I took photos of it in truck mode with the flaps out and in. Also it looks like the only way to get to the battery is to remove the two VERY tiny screws on each side of it. Overall I would say this is a nice little addition to Siege Optimus Prime. Is it $15.00/$16.00 nice? No I think this should be sold for no more than $10.

Thanks very much for the review. So, it's easy to remove the matrix from the chest, then? It looks like a tight fit, but I guess that's just the tabbing. I'm on the fence for this - I got my Optimus for almost half price thanks to some sales I stumbled across, but I'm not sure I want to spring for the light for $16...

Welcome! Yeah easy to remove, even though at first mine wasn't coming out until I was like duh I should untab it then remove it lol. I can see how since you purchased your Siege Optimus for almost half off then spending the same amount for a little light doesn't make sense.

Was yours working out of the box? Mine won’t light up, but I wasn’t sure if they included batteries or not.

What size batteries does it take?

    I did.
I’m not sure if the batteries can be changed without wrecking the wires.

A showz seems to be down for now.

    Update!

I took out the two little screws and pulled the center part out. I thought that the battery part was where the little button in the back was.

    WRONG!

The button has two metal pieces that go around the section where the battery is supposed to go. Turns out, pulling out the button rips off those two tabs and makes the entire thing useless.

So behold my wraith I guess.

The worst thing is that I already ordered new batteries for it so I have to buy another one just so I didn’t waste that money.

Mine didn’t come with a battery.
Remove the little black screws and pull out the light up section from the red case part.
Right behind the silver matrix part is the space that the battery sits.

If it’s empty you might just need a battery. It takes a size CR1025.

Oof, that's very odd. I think I'm going to stick to my alternative plan of getting a Dr. Wu matrix sword and head-cannoning it that Optimus Prime is transforming the Matrix into a sword when he transforms for battle...

I'm actually enjoying making up my own head-cannon with these figures. I figure the very obvious part number on Ironhide's torso is from his time in a Decepticon concentration camp before he was liberated.

And Shockwave's ultimate form is clearly from when he tampered with the Matrix and temporarily became a Prime...
