Awesome figures! I'm just a bit disappointed with Ironhide's leg tabs and Chromia's "bikini" falling off during transformation but I can fix that for sure. They should have at least painted Prowl's headlights too... Other that that they are fantastic figures! I still have to catch Cog and the two Soundwave's cassetes.

Yeah Cyberverse Prowl has shoulder cannons... but he's too blue, and he looks like he's eaten one too many Energon Goodies.

 

And he has half the articulation of the Siege version.

 

Not to mention a less-than-clean backside.

Experimenting with different Shapeways materials and parts tolerances, but this is what I have so far:


Hound's missile. Looking for a better option to color the missile silver. Otherwise, it's done.


Sideswipe's missile: Looks pretty much done. Thinking of scaling it down a bit, or else making a launcher for it as well.



Prowl's Missile and launcher. Launcher's about right. Gotta fix the tolerances a bit, so the parts fit tighter. It's nice that he will be able to wield it as a hand launcher as well. Also nice to be able to put the Siege Blast effects onto the launcher peg. I spray painted this launcher, but I think there is a grey material that Shapeways can use to just just produce the next sample's base color. Really need to find a better way to do the silver on the missile.


That's where I am at. Lots of other projects I could do. I going to tweak these a bit and then figure out what's next...

While old news for others, Magnus arrived three weeks ago and I am still completly enchanted by these two.

The poseabilty, details, scale, heft, plastic quality, accessories, playability (all those 5mm peg holes for the COMBAT system), head sculpts, the fact that Magnus is not a repaint/retool of Prime... the list goes on.

 

I thought this was a fun idea for a photo shoot. The art on these Siege boxes has been outstanding. Thought it’d be fun to try to recreate the poses and show off how much fun and flexible these figures can be.
