Huh? Oh wait... Do you like to pretend toys aren't what they are when you purchased them? Or rather, when you have people at your house, if that happens, do you introduce them to your toys saying it's something it really isn't? Sarcasm is great when it's returned to the seller.
I absolutely do. That was my whole point...to each their own. I find sometimes if someone posts something that isn't the general consensus, there is some kind of stupid sarcastic backlash....and i love responding to the backlash because...really people....
No, I mean that there are instances where Classics/Generation toys are released in other lines where they are CLEARLY meant to fill that void, and with the Reveal The Shield line being a Movieverse line technically, some of the most celebrated CHUG toys are technically Movie toys despite the jarring difference in aesthetics. Same point in those A/E/C repaints that were released in the Movie lines. Those things would be on my A/E/C shelf if I had one. With blurred lines across several sublines here, it's kind of hard to keep things pure. And, since I'm curious, how do you sort molds that are in several different lines? Each release in whatever line it came in?
Yup sure. No backlash here that I can see. Although maybe people could be offended at your use of the word 'pretend'. For examples in Sixo's pics, I don't think anyone would interpret that as a sequence of 711 Convoy taking off Ultra Magnus armour. If anything I'd say Takara are the ones 'pretending' that MP-711 isn't Magnus We all have our collecting quirks, that's for sure. I know I've got mine As an example, 'pretending' that Music Label Convoy was Ultra Magnus was a bit of a further stretch, since he was just a white Prime without any of Magnus's features, beyond the general colour. Much more 'hate-plague protected' Optimus, there.
I only collect masterpiece and G1 figures (original and reissues). I don't pay attention to the other stuff. Not my thing.
But because I made a comment that I don't consider mp 10 711 UM because, let's face it, as reality will have it, it's not UM, all kinds of responses regarding my view. Who cares? That's what I find hilarious about the differences and not being part of the general consesus on here. And i posted the "pretend" comment after i responded to someone else's comment....again, who cares. It's not UM. I don't use it as UM. I want a new scale UM in the way MP 2 was....that's me. Do i care what others do? Absolutely not. And you will never see a post questioning another person regardless of their opinion because again, i don't care. That's unless someone starts questioning me or posting what can be considered sarcasm. Then, you'll see a response.
To bring it back on topic, some more pics of Atmos Convoys: 赤翼 仁@AHCお疲れ様でした (@RedwingJin) | Twitter And a comparison the Twitter user made between Elephant Convoy and that elephant Convoy: Awesome homage!
Really curious if we will see any or all of these. Personally they all look interesting. And I’d like to see just how far I can stretch this MP-10 collection haha.
Yeah, definitely a custom. Still very cool though! Man, I really hope they follow through with all these Atmos Convoys.
My Lebronvoy showed up today. Still can't believe I bought another version of this mold. Why can't they be Seekers? At least those I could pretend are new characters.
This is probably the only variant of MP 10 I'd be intetested in, just from the nostalgia factor for the original G1 release.
Is there amybody here who has actually collected all the MP10 variants?...as is planning on getting these as well?
I have everything except the Hasbro MP-10 with a lighter shade of blue on the legs and hands and lighter eyes. It’s too similar to my Takara MP-10 to justify buying it.
Is it important for you to have all the iterations, though? I mean like the two Hasbro MP10 releases, the first and the one a couple years ago with the more regular packaging? Or the Year of the Horse mold? Just curious. I wonder if versions like that later one from Hasbro are desirable among the MP10 completists, I can't imagine a ton of them were made. Or like the TRU exclusive MP11 Starscream a few years ago, he was quite tough to find. Do you have all the BAPE MP10s? The golden ones?
