    Omg, what a kick to the throat of pure nostalgia. Haven't seen, let alone held, a VCR tape or one of those boxes in ages. Amazing.

    Just be careful and accidently record over it, I noticed the plastic piece is still there, enabling recordings.

    They did a good job on that tape with one exception: everyone knows the tabs are pre-removed from commercial cassettes to prevent them from being accidentally recorded over! (not that you would, for example, put Scotch tape over the hole and "accidentally" record porn over random tapes of your friend's to be discovered days, weeks, months or even years later at usually inopportune times) :D 

    I hope you kept your Suncoast receipt.

    Given I still have a VHS player due to having a lot of movies not on Blu-Ray or DVD, I'd totally go for this if real.

    I don't have a VhS but I'm kinda interested to see what they put on there. Maybe a Rick Roll, maybe J Warden just repeating "you have a VHS player?" Over and over.

    I’m surprised they’re not releasing a VHS copy, a lot of people would buy it. If you want proof, just look at this comments section.

    Heck, even a DVD in a retro VHS case would be cool.

    The VHS trailer simply wasn't authentic enough. First of all, the sound quality was all too clear. Second, as many have stated before, they went overboard with the filtering. I think it would be a better idea to forgo a simple VHS filter and actually record the damn thing on a real VHS, then upload it back onto a computer (which is what Pixel Titans did for their STRAFE® trailers). And finally (this one's a bit more of personal opinion), they could've gotten a Victor Caroli soundalike as a narrator.
