    I think they went a little overboard with the damage effects. I was one of those people who actually took care of my VHS tapes. I think it was only a couple years ago I stopped using my VCR. I would use it to record live shows like WWE raw and smackdown or CNN shows that for whatever reason on xfinity. What do people use now a days in place of VCRs ? Im not much of a tech guy.

    The trailer was cute -- between the editing and voice over, the trailer really does play like a late 80s/early 90s VHS trailer.

    The VHS effects are bit much -- commercial tapes were not that jittery, not for a brand new tape anyway. Rental copies of commercial tapes would get that way after many viewings, but if a commercial tape looked that bad fresh, you'd have returned it. This coming from a guy who still has way too many VHS tapes and VCRs to play them in!
