I dont think its black mamba specifically, but one of them have already announced an oversized version of these guys. which i will be getting with just as much enthusiasm as the official ones. you can never have enough constructicons.

Animated did that to an extent, and it was awesome. The Decepticons on average completely dwarfed the Autobots, because most of them had flying alt-modes, and almost no Autobots did. The size disparity between the main cast was particularly impressive. Especially when looking at the official scale chart in the Allspark Alamanac II. Lugnut is almost TWICE as tall as Ultra Magnus, the biggest autobot in the entire main cast other than Omega Supreme

(And while, like all other Transformers media, the show didn't always adhere to official scale, it did so far more than shows like G1. They put enough care into episodes to make sure that characters like Lugnut always dwarfed any autobot that stood in their way.

That's what I'm doing. I like studio series but I prefer MPM, so I'm waiting for the OSKOs. I'm looking forward to getting the OSKO Blackout and Megatron...

Man these SS Constructions are looking wonderful! So just to be clear, the old ones they're comparing the new ones two cant do a big Dev, yea? they were figures of just those single characters? the only other ROTF Devys were the legends one and that impossible to deal with lumpent lump that was the supreme class one, ye?

Either or, its amazing that some of the figures who are the best looking versions of these characters will also have the capability to do the whole Devestator things. Im going all in on these guys, its going to be really fun slowly hunting for them for a whole year as they all come out. Dev himself is going to be so. goddamn. rewarding once he's together.

Only thing im a little worried about is Mixmaster. Really wondering how they're going to pull off his head. The prototypes looked incredible, and as long as we get some nice crisp red paint on his tornado-face, im a happy camper.

So it turns out that when most of the vehicle kibble is fake, they don't have to do very much with the transformation.

Still, he looks good in both modes. And I'm surprised to see that he's actually longer in truck mode than the 2009 figure. I wonder how the weight compares?

He actually scales pretty well with the other constructicons I noticed. I was worried Rampage was going to be the same height as him but no Long Haul seems to be over a head taller. When the KO's happen I hope Long Haul will be at least the same head height as Weijiang's Blackout if not a little bit bigger.

yoo his vehicle mode is BIGGER than the original longhaul. damn and i thought that older figure was a chunky boi.

anyway, damn everything about this figure is fucking perfect. relatively simple transformation. accurate as heck. THE LEG!

even if long haul doesn't end up quite that big, hooooooly shit is the KO OS devastator gonna be fucking massive, i cant wait.

honestly im loving the simple transformation, it accomplishes alot by doing very little and i dont care if most of the kibble is fake. hes accurate AF

weight, usually i would say he's guaranteed to be lighter due to voyager budget and the way hasbro does stuff now, but seeing as how the constructicons are also a big ol combiner. hasbro may have given them a slightly larger budget than normal voyager figures to compensate. best way to compare would probably to see how much rampage weights in comparison to older figures as long haul will probably be pretty close to rampage.

The way he forms the foot is clever, using both the bed and cap to form the base. Also looks like the connector for Devy's legs isn't universal...so you can't use two Long Haul or two Rampage. I would assume, then, that will remain the case for his arms.

Yep the original single versions did not combine to form a devastator. Also only 4 of 8 characters got figures. That's because scrap metal, overload, hightower did not show up in robot form but I don't understand why Scrapper never got a ROTF figure.

These studio ones are truly amazing.

I dunno how much of a spoiler it is if it's the resin model, as we don't have any colors or clear joints to help indicate what the figures will have to do to form it.

    Nope. Revenge of the fallen.

The way the game worked it was actually like a transformer would be..not just "click to convert" type thing.
