The drill motors are designed to slide on over GB’s hands. The drills themselves connect to the motors via a square port, so I don’t think so.

So how many versions of Devy did Generation Toy do? There is the black version, green and yellow and did they do an orange version? Then they have the green clear plastic version.

If I could make a slight change, I would get rid of the red clear plastics for one to match the purple. I know its nit picky, but for me with this color and set in mind, I would want less colors not more. Also not sure about the gold highlights, maybe a metallic silver to match the rest. I think chrome would be too much unless you change the blacks to metallic. Still the set is awesome and I would love to have it, just not for the GT price tag(+conversion to Canadian dollars)

It doesn't have any significance. It's just a repaint. But why are you so excited by it that you need to use two question marks and an exclamation mark?

Anyone has the combiner hip and knee joint looseness issues on the GT Duron Drill gift set?

I got mine in Toronto TFcon from TF Source this year.
The forward/backward hip friction joint and the upper knee joints on combined form Longhaul is very loose on mine. So loose that if I push the figure a bit backwards, the figure collapses from the hip and knee.

I've seen pictures of this guy in combined mode able to hold his entire leg up and stand on one leg. Mine can't even stand unless I do some Jenga with it...

I'm wondering if this is something sort of QC issue, or the replacement parts weren't installed. I thought the Duron Drill gift set already comes with the replacement installed.

I'm not super sure about Duron, buy I got the box set of Black Judge and the joints could not be more tight, to the extent that I should probably go in and loosen them. I would wager you just got the one bad apple.

Noob question. How’s the build of Durron and Black Judge? Worth $400? Any issues?

On my Duron Drill, not-Hook's right arm arrived snapped off at the ratchet. I've got the replacement part but not yet done the surgery because it's going to be complex and such a tiny piece breaking like that disheartened me greatly. So if I could do it again I'd save the money. HOWEVER, I'm the only person I know of who's had that problem, so don't let it rule your purchasing decisions.

Duron Drill? I got mine here. Fast (if expensive) shipping and good customer service; They got me the replacement part quickly even if I'm too chicken to disassemble to figure yet.

You can probably find it for cheaper if you do some hunting, so don't give up just yet!

Still a bit over $400, and I don't know if you're in the States or not, but here is a used set:

3rd Party Transforming Figures® Generation Toy Duron Drill Packaged, not sealed

I've used Robotoybase before and totally recommend them, but the shipping (if you are in the States) might be cheaper from Transformerland.

I've never used them, though there is a thread here on TFW about them. Most eveyone seems happy with... him? (I think it is just one guy) You could Google 'is Transformerland legit' and see what comes up. That's how I usually find threads here on TFW about a given site.

He also has an eBay store - you could check the feedback there.
