Omne has some nice tricks and the best headsculpt, but I'd take XTB if I was going to keep just one.

Omne has some fragile parts and a bit of a finicky design. See my staff picks here: TFW2005 2017 Third Party Staff Picks

Anyone in the UK got this guy for sale, I wouldn't even mind if he has some minor damage for a lower price :)

Not sure if this was supposed to be blue texted (sarcasm colour) but it's not supposed to come off. Contact MMC and see if they've got any replacement parts left.

I chunked it, it just got overly frustrating, his entire bottom half just was not staying in at all.

I quit following this figure after the reports starting coming on of him falling apart at the waist so I'm not up to date. Was this ever addressed? Is there a fix or a reliable way of keeping it from breaking? Basically I'm asking if this figure is redeemable at all. I really liked how he looked - I'm not a big Cosmos fan but this figure's look won me over. I just wasn't willing to buy a piece of crap that snaps in half if you look at him wrong.

I've transformed this guy multiple times with zero issue or breakage. It's a piss-poor design honestly, but if you transform it in the correct sequence the waist should be fine. Basically if you try to rotate the hips downwards too soon, mind you this feels like a natural step, the rotating plastic of the hips will apply too much force against the waist causing the break. I forget the exact order but you need to loosen up the waist/pelvis area first beforehand, giving you the access to manipulate the hips. In robot mode, there are actually curved contours cut into the plastic which helps accommodate the hip rotation. This works in tandem with a minor ab crunch joint that gives you the clearance you need to pose him. (see below)

Poorly thought out design? Yup. The figure looks and feels amazing otherwise, it's just one you can't rush or force steps to transform. if you feel resistance trying to rotate a piece, put that sucker down and figure out what step you're missing.

I was going to post this same post. But this post is here already and perfect

So I endorse this post and omne. I’m pleased to have him in my bot display. Tempted to grab a kfc for alt mode display purposes.

Just got Omne last night and I really dig him... a lot. Seems there is a cloud of bad feelings surrounding this figure, but I don't get it. Maybe the later runs had warnings in the packaging so people could transform him safely without breakage? My only criticism is the shoulders being just pin joints. He can hold his arms up, but you can't have him hold anything.

(Update: reading through the thread I can see people tried to rotate his hips before the ab piece is connected... and snap).

He has been out since December 2017. He is great but you have to know two bits before you Transform him.

This guy is my Cosmos, though I have Klaatu and the Toyworld one too. Cosmos is a real fav of mine. TW isn't MP enough for me, Xtb is waaaaaaaaaaaay too large for a minibot. Omni is the closest, though still too big as far as I am concerned. None of them are the complete package. For such a simply designdd character, you'd think it would be easier to get it right.

Yeah, I love the heft to the figure and the coloring MMC used. He definitely exudes Cosmos.
