well to be fair...how are you supposed to tab in the "wast" when you don't know what it is.

sorry...so sorry...I could not help myself.

Ok. So there’s clearly something going on with the waist of this figure. One guy apparently snapped his , while the video above has no issues when it comes to movement. Need to see full video review , I’m sure there’s got to be some sort of locking mechanism somewhere ..

could tolerance be somewhat low on waist swivel cuz it's part of the transformation?

Got mine and ruddy hell, I'm over the moon.

Quality is top notch, tolerances are great across the board and he's filled to the brim with ratchets. Transformation gave me some difficulties but nothing ever felt like I was going to break something if I forced it into place. His so called 'thin' rear panels are actually very sturdy but it is still recommended to be careful. The only stress marks which are present on the panels are at very specific places; only a couple of spots where the pins had to be pushed into place. Furthermore they aren't stressing at all and I don't think they'll break anytime soon.

The plastic quality is great. Thick and actually pretty sturdy. It feels as if the plastic that has been used on this guy is better than anything that has been used on a G1 masterpiece. Now I've never had plastic issues with G1 masterpiece but something makes this overall feel.. better?

As expected for the price, he's pretty much fully painted and greatly so. The only bare plastic is within his chest cavity. Any plastic outside baring a structure (like the rear panels) has been dyed with a metallic flake some way or another.

When it comes to articulation, the only thing standing in the way is his design. The giant T-rex head is a bit cumbersome but Takara found a way around that by including a swivel right above the head. This also pretty much gets rid of gorilla arm syndrome.

Have a couple ol' pics: (Excuse me for lightning on the picture where I try to show articulation, 't was a sunny day and that don't work well with my mobile phone)

Overall I can say I'm satisfied with my purchase. And, as a matter of fact, this is my first BW MP figure!

I'm sorry to say this MP-36, but you've been dethroned as the best Megatron figure.

    Good on ya, Takara ;)

Someone from Japan advise to shave this part if the sliding joint is too tight. Try at your own risk.

Yikes! Thanks for that image it’s exactly what I was looking for, might have to move them to a bigger shelf. He is so big it’s a dream come true to see him in mp form and to be this accurate :D

Primal and Megatron are brothers in arms, eternal friends and foes. Yin and yang. Of course they belong next to each other, looks awesome by the way.

I live in Costa Rica, it would end up being "similar" due to shipping and customs...

Seems I paid a bit more than most other people here... Mostly due to the shipping cost.

Oh well, at least it's on the way now~
