Tiny stress marks can also go away by heating the part up with a hairdryer, maybe try that first as it’s the easiest and safest solution?

I tried the hairdryer and the lower heat didn't do anything for a few minutes. I tried the higher level heat and after 10 seconds sadly the plastic around it got warped and misshapen from the heat :(  rip

Luckily I had a replacement come in from Amazon since I thought this one was defective. Except that one also had stress marks in the same places but were far worse. So I just took both of them apart, and swapped parts so I had a Bonecrusher that had the least defective parts. What I did with the stress mark on the original figure was remove the capped pin holding in the shoulder to have clearance and then lightly shave off the plastic with a needle file until the white parts were gone. *sigh* I spend too much effort trying to have the "perfect" figure when really that's hardly ever the case.

Holy sh...I’m so sorry! That’s never happened to me before and now I feel very bad for giving you that advice in the first place!
Any way I can make it up? Maybe send a couple of bucks through Paypal for damages?

Ah don't worry about it, I got a free replacement from Amazon (which surprisingly also had the same stress marks but worse) and swapped the warped shoulder and all the bad parts with the "defective" copy so now I have a Bonecrusher with overall better parts while the defective one is sent back to Amazon. While I swapped shoulders I just used a needle file to gently shave away the white parts so it's all good.

    Good
    • Bonecrusher makes his old toy look like complete garbage. The accuracy in both modes is impressive with tons of details for days-- months, even! While vehicle mode is missing the cool bull-dog, Bonecrusher logo, he more than makes up for it with a better claw, robot mode proportions, and the fact that he can stand up straight. Kudos, Hasbro, for nailing the character on only the 2nd try!
    • Due to the vehicle mode's rectilinear design, it's extra fun to transformer him into his insectoid robot mode. The first movie Decepticon designs were very insectoid like and I think Bonecrusher is one of their more successful design in terms of an ordinary thing (Army truck) becoming a very unordinary thing (A skating gorilla-alien).

    • Robot mode is served well by ankle tilts and an extremely poseable blade arm of death that'd make any Decepticon proud. It's soo big, you guys. So big. I especially like how the blade joints are stiff enough to maintain a position despite the arm's length.

    Bad

    • The lack of a waist join in robot mode is extremely hard to ignore when trying to get him in cool skating poses. Compounding the issue is that he has no proper neck joint which... I don't even know what else there is to say. The arm articulation is good but due to his squat shape, you're gonna try a few cool skating poses and after he falls over a lot, you'll end up displaying him as he was in-box. Considering the standard set by many, many other toys in the same line, it's a real bummer.

    • He also could use an acessory or two. While he is only armed with the blade of death in the movie, it would be nice to have the "broom" shaped blade as an accessory and maybe the wrist blaster from his twin in ROTF.
So, duh, go buy hum. It's taken 13 years for Hasbro to figure out how to make a good Bonecrusher toy and I think they've done a good job. The lack of a waist and neck joints is a major pain, but I bet most will be happy just to have a Bonecrusher toy that looks as awesome as his movie likeness. Photo time! They're no good as I still can't find any fun poses for him but oh well...

Nice pics but in alt mode the fork should be flipped the other way. The deluxe had it the wrong way of the real vehicle. Studio series is able to do it right.

Anyone else’s front cab piece not really tab in and stay securely? Mine just super loosely sits there and if I move the big arm at all it comes undone.

Finally found this guy tonight, I like him way more than I thought I would. He's bigger than I was expecting as well, and can get the height I was hoping by not transforming the lower torso properly, and still looks good I think.

I havnt transformed him to vehicle mode yet, but digging this guy! Now all I need is Megatron and my 2007 Decepticons are complete! I might just buy the ROTF Megatron for now.

I saw Prime tonight too but I didn't have enough money for him. Ill probably end up getting the leader version eventually but the voyage will be great for now.

So is Siege killing all the interest in the SS line? Recently got this guy and he’s really not bad. And I am happy to have all the military ‘cons now.

That said I’m not sure I’m doing the legs correctly as there are a ton of steps I for the legs and I have no idea what they’re telling me to do.

Honestly, you're probably overthinking it - as it's pretty intuitive; that said, I honestly transformed this figure watching a reviewer, so I can't comment on the instructions.

Check the video reviews - they'll likely show you whatever has you stuck.

Same. Siege really is just G1 again. They look nice, but SS is giving us stuff we have never gotten in many cases. Characters that have been around for more than 10 years and never gotten a decent figure.

For me there's just not much left to get. Really, I just want a voyager or leader version of the 2007 Megatron, the rest of Devastator...and I think I'm good! I'm focusing on the core bayformer cast for Studio Series and it's nearly complete. I already have the entire 2007 Autobot and Decepticon cast minus an appropriate Megatron.
