Actually, XTB's Breakdown's legs are the one part the rear, and part the front doors and another part folded towards the interior.

 

Sorry if I wasn't so clear, my second sentence pertains to Deadend. I think DX9's Breakdown is probably the most accurate of them all. And best engineered as well.

I felt that way since the first time Takara showed MP-12 next to MP-10. Sideswipe just looks like a minibot next to Optimus.

Considering Motormaster is basically standalone and has zero combiner kibble I'd say all of it.

 

These all look really good except Deadend, he looks overweight with a vest on. But thats cartoon accurate I suppose.

 

All these limb-bots are incredible and seeker sized is completely fine with me. Motormaster needs an abdomen to look right. He's also pretty huge. I don't think I'll be able to get over that. I'm probably going to buy the limb-bots, but skip the torso and just display them individually. My shelf could use the extra space anyway.

Yet magically the car modes are still masterpiece scale. They have the car mode size of x-transbots and the robot mode size of dx9. Best of both worlds right there.

 

I believe the FT limb bots's alt modes are slightly larger than the official MP carbots's alt mode which are the same size as XTB's carbots's alt modes.

 

Got you, my point is that they are small cars and big bots like it's magic. Dx9 bots turn into large cars while fans toys manages some impressive Mass shifting.

 

There are trade-offs to everything. I'm worried that the bot modes are going to be hollow shells with the stability of a house of cards. Papercraft bots.

If anyone wants to compare to the real thing, here's a perfectly top-down view of the super-rare Countach model that is ironically the most-common model used by Cybertronians:

(This IS Sideswipe BTW, the exact individual car Takara based him on---always wondered why they did the periscope recess in black though)
(I do think there may be a bit of a fish-eye lens effect or something though, nose looks short)
